Taylor called an impromptu town meeting to inform everyone that they needed to step in to put on the Festival of Living Pictures, taken over for Woodbury. The town had to cancel due to recent flooding and Hank (the Taylor Doose of Woodbury) sent over all the festival pieces for Stars Hollow.

Everyone expressed their pleasure at hosting it again, as seven years ago they'd all had so much fun. Lorelai expected to take over her portrait and play the Renoir girl. Taylor had excused her from this at first, because seven years ago she'd flinched and almost knocked over her partner Terrance.

Beau was not happy that Sookie was a week overdue to give birth to the baby, because Jackson wanted him to be there and Beau was missing work. Nick Offerman is the co-founder of the Defiant Theater in Chicago, Illinois, and he married "Will and Grace" star Megan Mullally in 2003.

Lorelai tried to hide it from her, and even lied. She asked if Rory would be horrified if she starting clipping coupons again, and Rory replied "again?" Lorelai quickly responded with, "ever." She then begged to at least be allowed to clip one for the Fig Newtons.

Sookie and Jackson decided to forgo a hospital birth because of "infections, dead people, and dead people with infections" to paraphrase Sookie. I do not think Sookie realizes the amount of pain she is going to be in during the labor.

Gil was their best audition to date, except he was twice their age! Zac was extremely opposed to Gil joining the band, and they agreed he would not be their new guitarist to replace Dave. Dave had moved to California to attend college and, of course, become Seth on Fox's series "The O.C.". Adam Brody played Dave Rygalski on "Gilmore Girls" and Seth Cohen on "The O.C.".

Answer: Sebastian Bach

Sebastian Bach was the extremely successful front man in the late 80s and early 90s for the band Skid Row. They toured extensively with Bon Jovi, on a concert tour I personally attended twice. Sebastian stands at a remarkable 6'6" tall, is really named Sebastian but last name is Bierk, and was married in 1992. Gil tells Lane at the end of the episode that he once was in a great rock band who had their shot, but infighting and girlfriend stealing had caused the breakup of the band before their tour began with Quiet Riot. Lane's band mate Zac had accused Gil of "pushing 40" and Sebastian was 35 years old when this episode aired in November 2003.

The little boys looked very cute and Rory told them so. They insulted her, and she said when she'd been a Chinese acrobat seven years ago kids were respectful of their elders. The boys apparently ran away and insulted Lorelai as well, as she came and reported such to Rory. Rory said she referred to them now as the "Chinese acrobrats".

Sookie said she'd always like Emilio because he was sort of "nasty". Lorelai agreed with this assessment. They were going through Lorelai's baby box. She'd made it the night Rory was born and it was full of 80s memorabilia. Emilio is, of course, Emilio Estevez, Rob is Rob Lowe, Andrew is Andrew McCarthy and Judd is Judd Nelson. All four of these men starred in the classic "St. Elmo's Fire" together, along with Mare Winningham, Demi Moore and Ally Sheedy.

Lorelai did a wonderful job, and did not flinch at all this time around. She even held pose when Sookie's baby pager went off. The episode ends with Lorelai and Rory running off to Sookie and Jackson's house.
