5.10 "Walking Erect" Trivia Quiz

Answer: Horses

Beavis and Butt-head walked to a local zoo's entrance just as the sun was rising. When they arrived at the gate, a gentleman came by who was just opening up the place since the hours were just ready to begin. Butt-head first asked him if they had horses there so he informed him they had wild animals only.

Beavis and Butt-head joined a tour at the zoo and a docent there was discussing the first animal: elephant. She mentioned that their noses were so long that they were able to feed themselves. Beavis said he could not see the nose but was unable to realize that the long trunk was the elephant's nose.

The docent asked Beavis and Butt-head if they had a question. Beavis got all excited so he inquired as to which animal had something big. The docent did not understand what he meant since it was a vague inquiry so she said it depended upon what he meant. She did however state that giraffes had big and long necks.

Answer: Gorilla

After they were done with the elephant, the tour people went over to see a gorilla. The docent started to talk about the gorilla and how its central habitat was in the jungles of Central Africa. She started to discuss his diet before Butt-head interrupted to ask her about how they discipline gorillas.

Butt-head asked a question about disciplining gorillas that seemed to indicate there would be violence utilized against one that was out of control. The docent said that they do not permit violence against any of their animals. As she attempted to proceed with discussing the gorilla's diet, Butt-head interrupted again but made a disparaging remark against Beavis.

This upset him so Beavis struck him and the two fought for a little. The docent asked them to either behave or they would be off the tour so they voluntarily left the tour.

Answer: Zebra

After Beavis and Butt-head left the tour, the docent took the other tour guests to the third animal on it: the zebra. She said that the zebra was reluctant to mate due to something about the male zebra. The two then observed the male zebra and started to laugh at what he was doing.

Midway through the episode, Beavis and Butt-head decided to simply see animals on their own without hearing about their behavior. They went over to an exhibit where there were several seals playing around. Butt-head started to show signs of boredom so he suggested that they leave.

As Butt-head was looking for an exit to the zoo, he got all excited when he saw a sign that said "Snake House". Since he and Beavis loved snakes, they decided to go in there and check it out. They were seen for a couple seconds just looking at all the snakes that were on display at the place.

Beavis and Butt-head spoke about how it was pretty interesting when women would get all scared if a snake escaped from its cage. Beavis then started to shout, "Snake! Snake!", upsetting the people inside. As they started to get all scared, Beavis and Butt-head continued to yell out, further scaring the other people inside.

After the incident at the snake house, the show aired one more music video for the boys to comment on as it played. The song turned out to be one sung by the B.C. 52s called "(Meet) the Flintstones" for the soundtrack to the 1994 film, "The Flintstones". Beavis and Butt-head of course started to tease about the music being played.
