The episode began at a landfill where Beavis and Butt-head were looking through the garbage there. Beavis picked up an item and showed it to Butt-head while commenting to him about people being stupid to throw out certain things. Butt-head agreed with him and then they continued looking.

Beavis picked up a dead animal that was at the landfill and asked Butt-head what it was. Butt-head said he was unsure but he also noticed how it wreaked. Beavis sniffed the carcass and agreed that it definitely did smell. Butt-head suggested that they should urinate on it but Beavis mentioned that he just urinated on dog feces.

Beavis told Butt-head that perhaps they could keep the dead animal they had as a pet. Butt-head immediately dismissed the idea as stupid since the animal was already dead. Butt-head then said they should try and sell the fur, an idea which both of them thought was really great.

Beavis and Butt-head first went to Maxi Mart and spoke to the owner there about if he would like to buy some fur. Beavis showed him the dead animal so the owner looked at them all puzzled and asked them, "What do you think?" Butthead answered that he believed he would buy some but the owner said he was not interested.

Beavis and Butt-head tried to coax the Maxi Mart owner to buy some fur by telling him that women went wild over that stuff. Beavis even offered to exchange some of the fur for some nachos and another food item. The owner then gave him some nachos just so he could get the dead animal out of his store.

Beavis and Butt-head believed that the dead animal would bring them luck since they got some nachos through it. This led them to decide on going to the mall since they were sure someone there would buy some fur. They were next seen paroling around the mall trying to locate a buyer.

Beavis and Butt-head were at the mall when Beavis asked Butt-head what would happen if an animal came up to them and decided to sell their fur. Butt-head told him to not be so silly since an animal who approached them would likely just sniff their rear ends. As they spoke, they walked past a place which sold donuts.

Beavis and Butt-head located a store at the mall which specialized in fur clothing. A gentleman approached them at the store and asked if he could help them. Beavis and Butt-head asked him if he would like to buy some fur from them and they offered to sell it for $20. The gentleman said that they did not sell real fur anymore.

Midway through the episode, Beavis and Butt-head sat outside on a bench in the Highland Mall and Beavis asked why nobody wanted to buy fur from them. Butt-head suggested that perhaps it was due to a saying about not looking a dead horse in the mouth. Beavis peered closely at the dead animal and said it did not look like a horse.

After Beavis looked closely at the animal, he came up with an idea on what to use the animal for which they still had it. Beavis placed the animal's carcass on his head so Butt-head asked him what he was doing. Beavis stated how he was using the animal as a hat so he would look somewhat like Davy Crockett.
