Answer: The Today Show

The episode began at Beavis and Butt-head's home where they were watching television. The show that was on was "The Today Show" based upon the mentions of Bryant Gumbel and other related people. This episode bored them so Beavis and Butt-head ended up falling asleep midway through the program.

Beavis was asleep on the couch with Butt-head while "The Today Show" continued to play with Bryant Gumbel and Katie Couric on the television. Beavis was heard, albeit slightly, mentioning the word, "fire". Throughout the series' run, Beavis had a habit of getting obsessed with all things related to fire, hence why he mentioned the term.

Answer: Love Connection

Part of this episode's charm was paying homage to several series' as the boys dreamed of themselves being on certain shows. In Butt-head's first dream, he thought he was on "Love Connection" since a woman was on a couch bringing up their date. The male host in this dream resembled Chuck Woolery, who hosted "Love Connection".

Answer: Sensitive

As Chuck Woolery in the dream interviewed Butt-head's female date, she mentioned how her first impression of Butt-head was that he was cute. She also stated how well built he was and that he came off as quite sensitive to her needs. Butt-head commented on how he admired the woman's looks and felt she was attractive.

Answer: Nachos

Butt-head brought up to Chuck Woolery about how he got the woman some nachos since she mentioned that he took her to the quick mart. Butt-head said he did this so that it would make it easier for her to have sex with him. This caused some groans as well as some cheers in the audience.

Answer: Karate

As Beavis kept saying the word "fire", he first dreamed about being in a room surrounded by candles. In that dream, his karate master was giving Beavis certain instructions but he told him that he wanted to beat someone up. The master told him to be patient but Beavis was seen attacking the master.

Answer: Oprah Winfrey

Butt-head had a second dream in which he was on Oprah Winfrey's talk show. She was in the audience and said that several women made love to him, so she asked him to explain what the attraction was. Butt-head simply told her to just look at him and she would get an idea behind the attraction.

Answer: He thought they missed school

As Butt-head was having his dream about being on Oprah's show, he felt a tug and noticed that Beavis was waking him up. Beavis stated to him how he thought that they had missed school for that day. Butt-head mentioned how cool this was and that Beavis should not fret so much since they would likely not learn anything. Both boys then went back to school.

Answer: Star Trek

As Butt-head proceeded to go back to sleep, he immediately dreamed up a dream that was a take-off of the hit show, "Star Trek". On the series, Butt-head had a unique haircut that was designed to resemble a character from the popular series. Beavis arrived and Butt-head ordered him to go to the bathroom and Beavis obliged.

Answer: Highway patrolman

Beavis dreamed that he was featured on a special television show regarding true stories of highway patrolmen. Beavis was seen as a highway patrolman and spoke about how a suspect rolled past a stop sign. In the dream, Beavis took the guy who rolled past the stop sign out of his car and arrested him.
