5.7 "Walkathon" Trivia Quiz

Answer: Highland High School

The episode started off at Highland High School where the students were gathered in the gymnasium. Principal McVicker yelled at them to shut up since he was going to introduce someone to them. The students then became quiet so Principal McVicker proceeded to talk about the special guest he had there.

There was a sign at the Highland High School gymnasium that said "Christian Businessmen's Charity Case Walkathon" so the person organizing it worked with a group of businessmen regarding Christianity (he mentioned this in his speech). The person said that his name was Clark Cobb. Clark also had a sock on his hand that he called "Mr. Socko".

Mr. Cobb impersonated Mr. Socko and then had Mr. Socko ask a question about Jesus Christ. Mr. Socko wondered if it was true that Jesus Christ invented the walkathon. He believed it was due to when he walked onto the Sea of Galilee. Mr. Cobb guffawed and told Mr. Socko that he was right.

During the presentation at the gymnasium, Stewart smiled and this included when Mr. Cobb impersonated Mr. Socko. Stewart chuckled once Mr. Cobb was done, saying how he found Mr. Socko to be great. Butt-head simply laughed and said how Mr. Socko looked real funny to him.

In the second scene of this episode, the boys were right outside Maxi-Mart drinking a slurpee. Beavis all of a sudden started to drink really fast, causing himself to get a brain freeze. He dropped his slurpee onto the ground while Butt-head simply laughed at him and said he was stupid.

After Beavis's bran freeze quit, Daria came by and jokingly asked him if he was learning how to drink from a cup. She inquired as to why neither one was out collecting pledges for the walkathon. They both agreed to be her pledge so Daria marked down that they would walk for a total of $10 each and split a nickel between the two per mile.

Midway through the episode, Mr. Cobb was at Burger World with all the people who planned on walking in the walkathon. Mr. Cobb then impersonated Mr. Socko and said, "On your mark, get set, go!" Everyone started to cheer and proceeded to walk. Beavis and Butt-head stayed at Burger World for about ten more seconds before joining the rest of the crowd.

Beavis and Butt-head walked for a little bit with the other people in the walkathon but then Beavis complained that there were too many people. Butt-head suggested that they go in an alternate route. Beavis agreed with him so both of them went down a street towards their right.

The duo went on their own path and they were first seen traversing an ordinary traffic street where numerous cars honked at them to get out of the way. They almost got hit by a couple of cars but were not injured. After that street, they proceeded to walk in other areas, such as out by the train tracks.

Beavis and Butt-head went back to Burger World to talk with Mr. Cobb and asked him to get paid for walking. Mr. Cobb said they had not walked the total number of miles they pledged to Daria so he made a calculation. He stated how they would have to end up walking 4,000 miles.

The end of the episode showed Beavis and Butt-head being followed by Mr. Cobb in his car so he could watch them walk.
