Wallace Fennel was a new transfer to Neptune High, not knowing Veronica's past. He got a job at a convenience store and caught members of the PCH biker gang shoplifting. He pushed the silent alarm and was repaid by being duct-taped to the flag pole. While other Neptune students laughed and took pictures, Veronica cut him down.

Many of Veronica's cases were about students at Neptune High. Wallace used his connections to give her access to the students' permanent files. For a long time, Veronica appeared to be just using Wallace, but she proved to be a good friend by baking Snickerdoodles. Wallace is notable for being Veronica's seemingly only friend for much of the first season.

Wallace was the star player for the Neptune Pirates. In one plot line, the mascot was kidnapped with the demand that Wallace not play. Wallace was especially close to Polly, the parrot, since Polly resided at the school office. When Pirates exacted revenge by stealing Pan High's goat, Wallace found himself as the caretaker. Later, Wallace went to Hearst College on a basketball scholarship.

Keith first met Alicia Fennel when she was having difficulty with a disturbing tenant. Keith saw to the eviction of said tenant. Keith began steps to divorce Veronica's mother, who had left the family, much to Veronica's consternation. Her insistence at her mother's return put her at odds with Wallace wanting to protect his mother.

After she saw her mother's destructive behavior, she became a strong advocate for Alicia. Keith and Alicia broke-up when Wallace's real father arrived.

Answer: Jackie

Jackie Cook was the daughter of a baseball legend and a transfer to Neptune for season two. Even after Wallace began to date Jackie, she and Veronica would not be friends for some time. She and Wallace attended the anti-prom together, but she announced that she would be going to Paris for university. Wallace attempted to track her down in France, but Jackie met Wallace during his lay over in New York to inform him that she was actually living in Brooklyn.

She had a two year old child and needed to own up to her responsibilities as a mother.

Answer: Chicago

Wallace always believed his father had died, but he met his real father for the first time in season two. The man who died was his step-father. A huge fight with Veronica preceded his decision to go to Chicago with his father. He was a passenger in a hit-and-run in Chicago and returned to Neptune. He was later framed by the real driver, and Veronica had to help prove his innocence.

Answer: Piz

Stosh Piznarski, who was obviously called Piz, was from Beaverton, Oregon. He and Wallace instantly bonded as roommates. One of Piz's fist experiences on Hearst's campus was being robbed. Wallace helped Piz out by connecting him to Veronica. Later in the season, Wallace told Veronica to be nicer to Piz as Piz had a huge crush on Veronica.

Answer: Sociology

Wallace rarely interacted with Logan and even disliked Logan for a long time, recalling Logan busting the headlights on Veronica's car. Wallace censured Veronica for using school office passes for Logan. They eventually got a chance to know each other during a physics project that would help Veronica. During Sociology, they both volunteered for an experiment with guards and prisoners. Wallace was a guard, and Logan was a prisoner.

Answer: Mechanical Engineering

Wallace claimed that he had always wanted to be a mechanical engineer. In fact, he asked to pass on basketball for a semester to do better at a class. This endangered his chance to start the next semester. During finals weeks of second semester, he was seen working on a model plane for his course. Mac, Piz, and Veronica all came down to the beach to watch its first flight.

This echoed the pilot when Wallace flew a similar model plane.

Answer: Percy Daggs III

Chris Lowell played Piz. Francis Capra was Weevil. Teddy Dunn portrayed Duncan. Daggs has been on a number of television shows, but "Veronica Mars" was the first time for him to be a regular. He has also appeared on "Boston Public", "NYPD Blue", and "In Plain Sight" to name a few shows.
