She pulled a fifty out of her purse, crumpled it up and tossed it out her door. Frank followed it and Lois locked the door behind him.

Ginger knew nothing about Margene being a polygamist, so Margene wanted her to get to know Nicki and Barb before telling her anything. Ginger went to stay at Nicki's, who was thrilled to have someone feel sorry for her. When Nicki walked in and found out Bill was on the phone with Barb, she got on the extension and said that Margene got into a big fight with her mother, and Nicki was trying to smooth things over. Margene came in, heard Nicki and told Bill that wasn't how things happened. Margene tried to take the phone to talk to Barb, but Nicki was fighting her for it.

When Margene finally got the phone, she told Barb that Nicki didn't have a mom anymore so she was trying to steal hers. Margene and Nicki kept fighting for the phone, forcing Bill to finally yell for them to knock it off.

She saw someone outside and began to panic, also causing Barb to panic as someone came in the house. It turned out to be Joey, who said Bill had told him to get home as soon as possible. Barb calmed down, and then stared unbelievably as Joey first put one arm around Wanda, and then the other around Kathy. Frank, who had intimidated Barb and threatened Wanda earlier, was outside watching.

Bill was innocently pouring a glass of orange juice in Barb's kitchen when Ginger came in wearing her light-up shirt. She turned her boom box on and tried to get Bill to dance with her while trying to drape herself over him.
