"Buffy" Names Trivia Quiz

Answer: Summers

Her full name is Buffy Anne Summers. We find out her middle name in series three, when she temporarily lives in LA. She tells people her first name is Anne so no one will know who she is.

His full name is Alexander Lavelle Harris. Although Xander has no magical abilities like other members of the Scooby gang, he is still a valued member and has been known to save the world (or at least help Buffy save it) on occasion. An example of this was when he stopped Willow from ending the world.

As all "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" fans know, Willow is Buffy's best friend and the witch of the Scooby gang. She was the main character responsible for bringing Buffy back from the dead (with the help of Tara, Xander and Anya of course).

The gang knows him as Giles. He is Buffy's Watcher and friend. He used to be known as Ripper when he was a tearaway teen and he is still called that by Ethan Raine, his old friend who has appeared on the show on a few occasions.

After living in Sunnydale, Cordy moved to LA and is now part of Angel's gang. She has visions sent to her from the powers that be, which was passed onto her from Doyle through a kiss. She had to become half demon to handle these powers.

The master sired Darla; she then sired Angel who killed her in the first series of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". Wolfram and Hart brought her back to life a few years later. She got pregnant with Angel's baby and staked herself to allow baby Connor to be born.

Spike came to Sunnydale with Dru in season 2 and returned there when they broke up. While in Sunnydale he was captured by the Initiative (an underground government agency who killed vampires and demons) who put a chip into his brain so he couldn't hurt humans.

He then had a brief fling with Buffy in series six and got his soul back at the end of the series because he thought that was the only way that Buffy would love him.

D'Hoffryn made Aud a vengeance demon about a thousand years ago, after she turned her cheating boyfriend Olaf into a troll. He then called her Anyanka. Anyanka appeared in series three of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and granted Cordelia's wish (that Buffy never came to Sunnydale) in "The Wish". Giles reversed it by breaking her talisman, leaving Anyanka human.

She shortened her name to Anya and started dating Xander shortly after this.

He changed it to Angelus when he became a vampire and when he got his soul back he shortened it to Angel. We find out that he was called Liam in an episode of "Angel".

He was known as "William the Bloody" because of his bloody awful poetry. We find this out when he is telling Buffy about his past and the Slayers that he has killed. (Liam was Angel's name before he became a vampire, Charles is Gunn's first name and Randy was the name Spike called himself when he lost his memory.)

Nicholas has been in the show since the beginning, as loyal friend of Buffy and Willow, Xander Harris. Nicholas has a twin brother.

Emma joined the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" cast as the vengeance demon Anyanka. Anya became human and began to date Xander. Although they have broken up now, she still loves him.

Amber joined the show during its fourth season as Tara, a witch and love interest of Willow. Warren accidentally killed her in the sixth season causing Willow to revert back to black magic for revenge. She killed Warren and nearly ended the world, until Xander stopped her.

Anthony Head recently played James on the show "Manchild." He was one of the original members of the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" cast as Buffy's Watcher and friend Rupert Giles. He is now only an occasional character in the show because Anthony he moved back to England to spend time with his family.
