Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Bernard discovers that Dolores has created another host using whose body?

Answer: Lawrence

Dolores' body is restored. After setting off the EMP in Sonora and taking Solomon offline, Serac's men returned to the facility to find her pearl had been removed from her body. Caleb sped back to California with it. At a gas station in California, William aims a shotgun at the two hosts who have him in their custody.

He fires at Ashley before he can get shot, but Bernard is able to get into hiding and hit his own switch, subduing William. To their surprise, their fight is interrupted when a San Francisco Police Department vehicle rolls up, loaded with explosives. William manages to get away, as the cops arrive, but they keep Bernard at gunpoint to reveal that they aren't cops at all, but more of Dolores' hosts; the one who reveals himself is Lawrence.

He hands Bernard a case and an address and warns that things are going to get dangerous.
2. Caleb has never been to a Delos park.

Answer: False

As divergence points continue around the globe, Caleb returns to a looted and chaotic Los Angeles and arrives at his destination, a gated distillery where in one warehouse he finds a locked room containing a single sealed case from Delos. When he opens it, he finds several items: guns and a host skeleton of Dolores.

He places the pearl into her body when prompted and she comes online. He wastes no time in looking for answers and, sure enough, she has them. Just like the park studied her and her kind, they studied Caleb.

When the park was open, Caleb was tracked in Park 5. The government wanted their soldiers trained with 'live' targets and they catalogued every move and every decision he made there. She chose him purposely. That night in the tunnel, subconsciously, he knew who she was; it might not have worked if she looked like someone else.

He asks if he has a choice in what happens next and she says that free will is difficult to muster, but he has to make a choice and it could provide free will to everyone.
3. Which former ally of Dolores' purposefully interferes with her plans in Los Angeles?

Answer: Charlotte

William returns to Los Angeles as well and meets with one of his advisors. Drinking expensive whisky in his blood-spattered mental ward outfit, he asks for his assets to be unfrozen and for the Delos information to be relinquished so that he can head out and save the world. It's a bold suggestion to say the least.
At Delos HQ, Serac speaks to a rebooted copy of Maeve, recovered from Sonora. Serac tries to explain the truth to her about Solomon and Rehoboam but they have a chance to save the world. They have to collect the key from Dolores' mind though; it will allow them to get the answers they need. They know that Dolores' pearl is in Caleb's possession, so he's the next target on their radar.
Caleb and Dolores, heading into the city, realize that the system knows they're coming. She rendezvous with RICO-fuelled forces along the way and reroutes some of the riots as they descend into the subway. That's when Charlotte finds her and communicates to her via her mind. Charlotte suggests that she has plans down the road and she will be enacting them. And that's when the guns start firing. Dolores sends Caleb away to get to Rehoboam alone and upload the drive.
4. Dolores claims that all of the hosts where originally created based on which of these?

Answer: Her programming

Dolores heads off alone but finds herself flanked on both sides when she tries to cross the city. Maeve's forces surround her and Maeve herself comes forward to reason with her-- she can let her into her mind or Maeve can force her way in. Dolores fights her way out, taking out the gunmen and leaping off an overpass, and that's where Maeve heads out to fight her.

As Maeve swings her katana at Dolores' arm once again, this time it doesn't cut through-- Dolores' carbon-fiber skeleton stops it. It results in Dolores getting the upper hand. Dolores doesn't want to hurt Maeve though, so once she subdues her, she lets her make the choice and leaves. As Dolores walks away though, Charlotte stops her, remotely.

As it turns out, just as Dolores put safeguards into Charlotte, Charlotte did the same to her.

It allows Maeve to rise and grab her sword.
5. How is Caleb able to reach the Incite building?

Answer: In a police aircraft

Caleb wades through the rioting crowds until he receives protection designated to him. The plan is still to enter Incite, even if there's probably no way out. The chaos escalates the closer he gets. With the government having put up barricades to control the crowds, there needs to be an alternate solution.

The Delos riot control mechs fire tear gas into the crowd as Giggles shows up and hands Caleb some supplies. They reunite with Ash, already at work taking down the power grid, and they identify the method Caleb needs to use to get to Incite-- by air in a police aircraft. Caleb makes it in as Giggles takes a bullet to allow the escape. Ash tells him to burn it all down.
6. Bernard visits the address he was given. Who appears to be living at the location?

Answer: Arnold's wife

Bernard, with Ashley in the back of his stolen car, heads to the address Lawrence provided him with. He's there because he needs to talk to Dolores. He hesitatingly knocks on the door, but he's surprised when he finds Dolores isn't there. It's actually Lauren's house, and Lauren was Arnold's wife. Dolores sent him there, as it seems, to make amends. And he does. Dolores, meanwhile, is brought to Incite, and there she's paired up with and hooked into Rehoboam so that her files can be searched through. Dolores warns Serac that he won't find what he's looking for, but he threatens her by commencing the deletion of her memories. One way or another, he will find what he's looking for.
7. According to Rehoboam's calculations, what will happen to Earth if Solomon's plans are enacted?

Answer: The end of human civilization

Caleb obtains a keycard and enters Incite with relative ease, shooting his way through guards inside and outside and reaching a command console. He plans to insert the USB drive, but one of Serac's men comes in for a fight, one that ends with Caleb breaking the man's neck, but allowing Maeve and others to arrive.

She forces him to hand over the data drive and takes him down to Serac and Dolores where Serac offers him a front row seat. Serac paints Caleb as the bad guy and suggests that Dolores assigned him a role just like she'd been fighting against. Serac forces Caleb to ask Rehoboam what would happen if Solomon's new plan were put into action; Rehoboam's calculations take no time to spit out the answer-- two mass casualty events before population collapse in the span of twenty-three years and the end of human civilization within fifty to one hundred twenty-five years. Serac takes the data drive and smashes it on the floor.
8. Did Dolores ever have the key in her possession?

Answer: No

Serac has trouble locating the key in Dolores' mind, but the search is further complicated when Maeve discovers that Serac is being controlled; a wireless audio device in his ear beams words directly from Rehoboam into his mind and she can hear all it says. Serac chooses to obey, he says, and Maeve has no choice but to listen.

He still has the detonator to end her. Maeve speaks to Dolores one on one and asks her to stop fighting; they could even make their own world. Dolores reminds her that they were created to see the beauty in the world, and Maeve suggests that Dolores doesn't have the key.

The truth is that they communicated with each other in a brief memory where Dolores admitted to a choice she had to make wherein she could annihilate humanity or help them create a new world by tearing the old one down and rebuilding.

She never had the key, so she gave it to someone who she could trust with it, but she did have beautiful memories she held onto until the end. And the last one was something she could use to help restore beauty to the world-- hers and theirs.

But Maeve needs to pick a side, and she still can.
9. What is the final command given to Rehoboam?

Answer: To erase itself

Serac turns to Caleb for answers and aims a gun at his head, but Caleb refuses everything, even if he had an answer. Serac tells his men to erase what's left of Dolores and when they do, something happens.
Maeve picks a side as the power in the building surges. Serac presses the button to deactivate her, but the operation is foiled as the lights go out and Maeve spins in a flurry of sword swipes. When the power is restored, only she, Caleb, and Serac remain alive. Maeve admits she never understood Dolores' plan or story, but not until the end. She chose Caleb because he had a capacity to choose. In Park 5, he was the only one to stop the other men from making heinous decisions. He'd done generous things even if he'd done horrible things.
On the floor, Serac asks Rehoboam to alert the police, but the request doesn't work. Rehoboam answers to Caleb now; Serac was locked out when Dolores was plugged into the system and Solomon's access was the last memory in her mind before she was wiped clean.
Caleb initiates the final command to Rehoboam and asks it to erase itself. The rest of the world will be allowed to make its own choice.
Maeve and Caleb depart, leaving Dolores' body and Serac behind.
10. Where does William find that Delos is still constructing new hosts?

Answer: Dubai

Bernard brings Ashley to a motel room and tosses him into a bathtub to cover him in ice. Bernard will repair him, but they don't have much time. He thinks Dolores is gone; they were always bound together, but something has changed. What was going to happen was always going to happen. Humanity needed to reckon with its own sins. If Westworld had to burn down for them to be free, then maybe humans needed the same thing. But there was one thing left unaccounted for-- the key to the Sublime-- and it was never left in Dolores. It was left in Bernard. Bernard decides he must go in to find out what comes after...and he does.

In Los Angeles, Maeve and Caleb leave the Incite building and Caleb asks her what Maeve was offered. Maeve knows that someday she'll be reunited with her daughter...just not today. As explosions ring out throughout the city, she asks if he's ready for the New World. He can be whoever he wants now.

In Dubai, William reaches a Delos building and asks to be let in to see the Hosts. He finds significant resistance and shoots his way through to the research lab in the basement. There, he finds Charlotte, but she's been expecting him. William says that he wants to save the world, but Charlotte knows that Dolores wanted the same thing. He's right about one thing though: he's going to save the world, but for 'us'. A host version of William emerges to fight, and it knows all about him. There are no sides-- it's just the proper version. The Man in Black slits William's throat and welcomes him to the end as machines continue to fabricate new hosts in the room adjacent.

In a long-untouched motel room, coated in dust, Bernard awakens, emerging from the Sublime.
