After getting word that Olive was sick on the cattle trail Loren brought Dr. Mike, Sully, Robert E, Grace, Matthew, Colleen and Brian. Only when they found the heard Olive had already passed on and was buried on the trail as per her wishes. Loren had started reading the will but left it for Michaela to read. Olive had left her share of Grace's Café to Grace, her share of Bray's Mercantile to Loren, money set aside for Colleen and Brian's education plus a pocket watch for Colleen.

The trail boss for Olive received her ranch in Mexico as he earned it and Matthew got the cattle herd and her ranch in Colorado Springs.

Matthew tried to buy a bird at Bray's Store but it was so scrawny Matthew didn't think it was a turkey. He tried going hunting for a turkey only for Brian to foul it up. So Brian tried to fix it himself by hunting for it narrowly missing Cloud Dancing. Together Brian and Cloud Dancing got the turkey having a full turkey dinner meal waiting for Sully, Michaela, Kid Cole and Sister Ruth.

The Frankel family had a peddler cart stocked with just about everything that Loren's store had: the competition. Jake followed the crowd nudged by Loren to knock over Frankel's cart. Matthew accidentally read a telegram for General Custer that he and the 7th Calvary were ordered to the South of the Arkansas. Turned away from the fort they were sent to they were met at Washita and massacred except for Cloud Dancing who wasn't with them and a baby hidden by a dead Indian child. Sully found a dying Snow Bird and thankfully she and Cloud Dancing got to say their goodbyes. Sully then found a Cheyenne child Brian had befriended hiding a baby who wasn't harmed. Michaela ran up to him and with tears clearly coming out of Sully, "No Harm hid him!"
