Tom Friendly was killed in the season three episode, "Through the Looking Glass." He was attempting to surrender to Sawyer after his plans had failed and several of his comrades lay dead. Sawyer shot him anyway because he didn't believe him. Tom was a member of the Others who was apparently loyal to Ben. Throughout seasons one and two, he acted as a menacing spokesperson for the Others and was part of the group that kidnapped Walt from the raft.

Answer: Anthony Cooper

Anthony Cooper was killed by Sawyer in the season three episode, "The Brig." Anthony was the biological father of John Locke and a conman that went by many aliases. While using the alias, Tom Sawyer, he seduced James Ford's mother, Mary, and then used her in order to swindle money from her and her husband, which resulted in the death of both.

This prompted James to take on the alias "Sawyer", and to hunt down his namesake. Sawyer wrote a letter to Cooper that he had carried with him for years. Cooper refused to read the letter; instead, he ripped it up. Enraged, Sawyer strangled him with a set of chains while in the hull of The Black Rock.

Answer: Kate Austen

This conversation took place in the season two episode, "What Kate Did." Wayne was Kate's biological father, although Kate preferred if he wasn't. He was an alcoholic who frequently beat his wife (Kate's mother) and made sexual passes at Kate. Fed up with his actions, Kate set up an insurance policy for her mother's house, and then blew it up while Wayne was sleeping inside, thus starting Kate's long run from the law.

This conversation is the last anyone heard from Wayne.

Danielle Rousseau was killed in the season four episode, "Meet Kevin Johnson" by Keamy's men from Widmore's ship. She was trying to flee with her daughter through the woods but neither reached safety.
Rousseau claimed to have arrived on the island in 1988 on a ship. She was seven months pregnant at the time, and gave birth to Alex on the island. Shortly after, Alex was kidnapped and raised as the daughter of Ben Linus.

Alex was killed by Martin Keamy in the season four episode, "The Shape of Things to Come." Alex had been kidnapped in the previous episode, "Meet Kevin Johnson" after both her mother and boyfriend were murdered by Keamy and his men. Keamy decided to try and use the threat of Alex's death as bait to lure Ben out of hiding. Ben knew that if he surrendered, everyone on the island would die anyway so instead of turning himself over to him, he tried to convince Keamy that Alex didn't mean anything to him. "She's not my daughter. I stole her as a baby from an insane woman.

She's a pawn, nothing more. She means nothing to me. I'm not coming out of this house. So if you want to kill her, go ahead and do it--" Anything else he wanted to say was cut off by the sound of Keamy shooting Alex.

Answer: Martin Keamy

Martin said this to Ben while a desperate John Locke was trying to save his life. Martin Keamy was stabbed to death by Ben Linus in the season four episode, "There's No Place Like Home, parts 2&3). Keamy was a mercenary and the leader of the team that traveled to the island from Charles Widmore's freighter, Kahana.

He and his team were responsible for many deaths in the series; his death triggered even more by setting off a dead-man sensor which caused the explosion on the Kahana.

Answer: Frank Duckett

Frank was shot and killed by Sawyer in the season one episode, "Outlaws." Frank was an American running a shrimp stand in Australia. Sawyer was told by his associate Hibbs that Duckett was the original Sawyer. However, it turned out that Hibbs had tricked Sawyer, and Duckett merely owed Hibbs money.

Beatrice was shot and killed at the Flame by Mikhail in the season three episode, "Enter 77." She wanted to prevent the survivors from obtaining information from her about the location of the Barracks. Mikhail didn't want to kill her, but did so anyway.

Answer: Roger Linus

Roger Linus was killed by his son, Ben Linus in the episode, "The Man Behind the Curtain," in what was called The Purge. Roger worked as a work-man for the Dharma Initiative. He raised his son, Ben, alone after Ben's mother died during child birth, something that he would frequently blame Ben for. Several years later, Ben had aligned himself with the Others and helped in purging the island of the Dharma Initiative's workers by poisoning them with gas.

Answer: Seth Norris

Seth Norris was the pilot for Oceanic Flight 815, and was killed in the season one opener, "Pilot, part 1." He survived the crash only to be discovered several hours later by Jack, Kate, and Charlie. Shortly after, he was snatched out of the cockpit by the smoke monster. We didn't learn that his name was Seth Norris until the season four episode, "Confirmed Dead."
