Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The opening scenes show Ian Fleming and his wife Ann snorkelling near his estate in Jamaica in 1952. What is the name of Fleming's estate, which is also the name of a James Bond film?

Answer: Goldeneye

Fleming purchased the land in 1946 and built his three bedroom house there. He wrote all the James Bond books in that house. A special clause in his employment contract with "The Sunday Times", allowed him to spend three months holiday, every year, in Jamaica. Fleming never authored a book with the title "Goldeneye".

The film with the same name was the first in the Bond series not to be based on a book by Fleming. "Goldfinger", "Thunderball" and "Moonraker" are books by Fleming that were made into James Bond films.
2. The film then flashes back to 1938. Ian is the black sheep of the family. He is a hard drinking womanizer who failed as a stockbroker. Who is the actor that portrays Fleming and has appeared in several films including "History Boys", "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter", "My Week with Marilyn" and "Dead Man Down"?

Answer: Dominic Cooper

Dominic Cooper was born in London in 1978. He studied at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. His breakthrough role was Dakin in the "History Boys" in 2006. The Germans reveal that they gathered the information from British field offices that fell to the enemy.
10. Fleming takes Monday to the Dorchester for dinner, where Ann is also dining. After exchanging glances, Ann goes upstairs and Fleming follows her. What interrupts their passionate kiss?
