Bullock is the Deputy Director of the CIA's Langley Falls branch and as such is the boss of main character, Stan Smith. In the show he enjoys fishing, table tennis and the company of young, overweight Asian women. He has also appeared on Spooner Street, in an episode of "Family Guy" (1999 onwards), where he and Stan attempt to stop Stewie taking over the world in the 2007 episode, "Lois Kills Stewie". Accomplished Shakespearean actor, Patrick Stewart, who provides the voice for Bullock is best known for his role as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in the TV show, "Star Trek: The Next Generation" (1987-1994).

Although she had many hits on the Billboard Country chart in her native USA, her biggest hits on national charts came in UK. Her 1968 record, "D-I-V-O-R-C-E" didn't even make it into the top 60 on the Billboard Hot 100, but was a number 12 hit in UK.

The follow up, "Stand by Your Man" was a top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100, but went all the way to number one in UK. This is widely regarded as her signature song and has been covered by many country artists, as well as artists of other genres such as Elton John and as a duet between Lemmy of Motorhead and Wendy O. Williams of The Plasmatics. Wynette voiced Tilly until her death in 1998.

The Elton John song, "Someone Saved My Life Tonight" recounts the time when Elton was talked out of suicide by Baldry, who is referenced in the track as "Sugar Bear".
