Diane Chase was the highly critical mother of the groom, and she was not at all pleased about her son's new wife. She was found dead when the bride and groom were driving away from the location of the reception, as she'd been tied to the car!
Veronica Cartwright has been a brilliant character actress, with roles on the one and only season of "Invasion", "Nip/Tuck", "Six Feet Under", "ER", and "The X-Files".

I believe this was a fictional location, but I did find a Cupids Wedding Chapel and Receptions listed for Las Vegas. Victoria's and A Secret Garden are also real Las Vegas locations.
Each CSI on hand, re-tells the story of their own investigation at Cupid's Kiss, and each one varies slightly from the next. The reason they had to tell the tale, was because all their evidence had been stolen!

Answer: Valerie (Rachel Minor)

Valerie knew that Jill, the bride, had a prescription for six Diazepam, because her husband had written it for Jill. So, she took four of those 10 mg tablets and spiked the drink for Diane's toast. Diane knew it had been Valerie, and threatened to have her husband's medical license revoked and Valerie put in prison. So, as Diane was walking out of the reception, Lacey followed her into the dressing room.

Sara and Greg were there first, and she asked Greg why they always ate there. He said it was open 24 hours, and she commented that everything else in Vegas was open for 24 hours. He then replied back to her that it was cheap. Nick showed up right after that conversation, and while in the booth with Sara and Greg, someone towed away his SUV. It was a theft, as there was no reason that the SUV should have been towed.
The tow truck was owned by the bride's brother, and not an organized crime family as originally suspected.

Answer: Lacey, the bridesmaid

Lacey followed Diane into the dressing area, after Diane had stumbled out of the reception. Once they were both in the room, Diane threatened to have Lacey charged with conspiracy to commit murder. The CSIs had determined that Diane's Diazepam levels were in between therapeutic and toxic, so Diane may have been right on the attempted murder scenario. Lacey became very angry, and she pushed Diane back, accidentally impaling Diane's head on the cupid's arrow. She then went back to the rest of the bride's party and asked those women to help her get rid of Diane. They decided to tie Diane to the "getaway" car and make it appear as if the Fatelli brothers were the ones who'd killed her.
In the end, all of the women admitted to their role in Diane's death. And, while her death was not the intended end result, they admitted it had not really bothered them that she'd died.
Amanda Seyfried played Lacey. Amanda starred in the movie "Mean Girls" and on season one of HBO's series "Big Love".

Answer: Palermo

The CSIs were able to identify the man as Jeffrey Powell after they entered his room at the hotel. There they also found evidence of a blonde person and some drugs.

Answer: Heidi

Jeff's boss, played by Judd Nelson, had arranged for Jeff to experience a fantasy while on vacation in Vegas. Jeff never knew it was a fake experience. He believed that Heidi was really a 'damsel in distress'. She poured out a fake story, pointing out the 'boyfriend' who'd done her wrong. Jeff believed her and they went on a big adventure. Unfortunately, this adventure ended up with Jeff's murder.
Julie Benz, Darla from "Buffy" and "Angel", played Heidi Wolff.

The episode opened with Heidi and Jeff driving to the Palermo hotel, where they paid Lenny to park and watch the Ferrari. The amount of money was mentioned again later, when Lenny was interviewed by the crime lab.

It was her fault he died, but she did not kill him. She'd made up that story about her high-roller boyfriend who'd been bad to her, and Jeff went to confront the man. This was after the fantasy script had been played out, and Heidi had decided to become his lover anyway.

He went downstairs and bought her an expensive diamond necklace, and then he confronted the Asian business man. It was this man's body guards who killed Jeff.

Answer: a black Corvette

This happened after Jeff won $10,000 from a local Vegas man, played by Kenneth Johnson (Lem from "The Shield"). Randy drove the Corvette, finishing his part in the fantasy, and the car was later found abandoned. The CSIs disovered both cars were rented by the same company, Caprice Unlimited. This is how they tracked down the fantasy Jeff's boss had bought for him.
