Grace revealed to Will that Vince was giving him a key to his apartment but when Vince gave him a wallet instead, it upset Will. Grace says, "Well, maybe this is a good thing. When Grace met Vince at 91st and Amsterdam, she tells him, "Will really hated the wallet. You have to give him the key." Vince asks, "Did he look inside the wallet?" Grace asks, "Oh, is the key inside the wallet?" Vince replies, "No, I put a coupon for a kiss inside the wallet." Grace tells him, "That is so queer. Okay, now, look, you've got to give him the key.

He's not gonna have a birthday until he gets it." Vince says, "First admit that I know Will better."Oh, this is ridiculous. This isn't a competition. Will's happiness is the only thing that matters right now, and that is dependent on him getting the key." Vince says, "Right, which is dependent on me giving it to him. Which is dependent on you admitting that I know Will better. Your move." Grace says, "I'm out. You know him better." Vince says, "All right, I'll give him the key." Grace then says, "Thanks. Oh, one more thing, can you read this out loud please?" She writes something on a piece of paper, hands it to Vince and he reads, "Grace knows Will better." Grace tells him, "That's very big of you to admit."
