After dealing with Mandy's demands for money and her cluelessness about the value of money, they decide to take their coffee and run away so they don't have to deal with the next daughter and her problems. During the discussion with Mandy, Vanessa states that Mandy's cluelessness is why she puts rum in her coffee.

Answer: She needs to borrow $500 because of using her employee discount.

Mandy comes to Outdoor Man during her lunch break and asks for $500 from Mike because she had an accident at work. Mike is concerned until he finds out the accident is she spent too much money using her employee discount to buy cute outfits. Mike tells her, "This is not the job for you" and she says, "Funny, that's what the store manager said."

Answer: Pizza delivery

Mike used to deliver pizzas as a teenager so he gets Mandy the same job. Vanessa is not happy because the job could be dangerous. Mike says he did it but Vanessa says he was a boy and it's more dangerous for a girl. Vanessa also asks Mike if he wants to get her a job as a liquor store clerk but Mike says she is underage. Mike ends up trailing Mandy in Kyle's van so he can make sure she is okay.

Answer: A rubber band around the handles

Mike pulls a rubber band out of the drawer and says that is what they used when the girls were small. He says, "You just double loop it around the handles and problem solved." Vanessa says, "Yeah we only had to call poison control twice", to which Mike replies that one time was because of her mother's potato salad.

Answer: Throw pillow

A throw pillow is Mike's suggestion to show how silly the baby proofer is being. The baby proofer calls the coffee table the coffin table. He says kids can stick coins in outlets and he says kids can get their heads stuck in banisters. Next thing you know Kyle gets his head stuck in the banister trying to prove Mike's point that it wouldn't happen.

Answer: He tells Ed this is why he gets sued.

Ed says that the new guy needs to be hazed, he was hazed as an enlistee in the army. He then elaborates that he was tied to a tree with a hose. Mike acts incredulous and Ed clarifies that the tree was set on fire. Later on when Kyle gets his head caught in the banister Mike threatens to tie him to a tree with a hose and he knows what happens after that.

Answer: SEAL survival knife

The knife is the SOG SEAL Elite series with neoprene handle. He says it is modeled after the one used by Navy SEALs and then goes into a tirade about how Navy SEAL's parents told them to get up when they fell down instead of coddling them. He says Chuck Darwin would be ashamed at how modern parents baby proof their lives.

Answer: Jason Bourne

In Mike's world Jason Bourne is the ideal example of someone who can survive anything and it is because his parents let him learn to survive as a child. Before mentioning Jason, Mike had rattled off a bunch of death defying things parents should let their children do and then states their kids would then be like Jason.

Answer: He is proud of how fast and accurate Mandy was in using the mace.

When Mandy stops to deliver a pizza, Mike has Kyle stop so he can sneak up on her and make sure everything is okay. He surprises her and she maces him. Later on at home while Mike is trying to get the mace out of his eyes, he states how proud he is of her and how fast she reacted to protect herself.

He also tells her she should get a different job so he won't have to worry about her. She thanks her dad for following her to make sure she was safe.

Answer: Uses Boyd's potty training chair

Vanessa is forced to use Boyd's potty chair and later on Kristin thinks that Boyd has finally used it. She gets all excited and Vanessa does not tell her what really happened. Kristin then says she is going to throw away all of Boyd's diapers to which Vanessa responds she should keep some of them.
