Vanessa is expecting Mike to bring home something they can eat right away and instead he brings home a raw fish that has not even been gutted yet. Everyone is hungry and has been waiting for his return so this does not go over well with the family.

Mike tells Vanessa he will be heading out again soon to go to Costa Rica for another photo shoot. The owner of the chain, Ed, decides it is time to gain an online presence and end the printed catalog so he cancels Mike's trip to Costa Rica. Mike does not like the idea and fights Ed's decision so the two strike a bargain - if Mike can get the online sales up Ed will let him go to Costa Rica. Mike does not find out about Vanessa's promotion and that he will be needed more at home until after all of this occurs.

Mike took Boyd to daycare but when the man running it told him not to use the word champ because it pits kids against each other, Mike took Boyd and left. When Kristin finds out she is furious with him for not leaving Boyd at daycare and taking him to work instead. She learns later on from Kyle that Mike was actually very understanding with Boyd and told him it was okay to cry when he fell down. This changes her mind about her father at least a little bit.

An interesting exchange happened between Kristin and Mike when she asks him if he is going to meddle up until the day he dies and Mike replies, "And beyond. I have a very specific will." The phrase 'and beyond' is a line from his character in the "Toy Story" movies, Buzz Lightyear who always says, "To infinity... and beyond."

When Mike finds out Mandy was with Travis and they called AAA instead of Travis fixing the flat he was very angry. He decided Mandy needed to learn to be able to take care of herself so he would not let her drive again until she learned to change a tire on her own. She finally gave in and did it on her own, getting covered in black rubber soot in the process and braking the jack.

Answer: She injures the boys' star whom she has a crush on.

Eve sprains Victor Blake's ankle so everyone starts calling her Queen Kong. She is devastated and says they have to move now. It turns out though, Victor was impressed with the way she played just like Mike predicted and asks her out on her first real date.

She tells Mike she promises to be aggressive on the date just like he taught her. Mike did not see that coming and says aggression does not apply to dating.

Answer: Ask out Mandy but went out with Kristin

Mike wants to get Mandy away from Travis so he tells Kyle to ask Mandy out. When Kyle comes to the Baxter house, he assumes Kristin is Mandy and asks her out to the movies. When Mike realizes what has happened he does not fix the mistake but instead tells Kyle Mandy likes to be called Kristen since it really is Kristen.

The show ends with Kristen coming home from the date and yelling at Mike for the mix up.

Mandy's vlog is called Mandyland and Mike watches it. In it she says she is normally broadcasting from Mandyland but today she is broadcasting from cell block C of Dadicca Prison. She is upset with him for grounding her from driving until she learns to change a tire.

Mike is selling a crossbow but then he goes off on a rant about everything bothering him. He starts off talking about the crossbow and hunting then realizes the men watching his video probably don't hunt anyways. He then goes into a tirade about fantasy football, wimps who sprain their ankles, and dads who don't take responsibility for their kids.

The vlog sets the pattern for all future vlogs that are a part of each episode.

Answer: It went viral and drove traffic to the site.

When Ed sees the vlog he asks Kyle how seeing Mike go nuts is any good for the site or the store and Kyle replies that their hits are way up and the vlog has gone viral. Kyle then states that their hits going up is a good thing and Ed says he knows that. Since Mike's vlog is a success, Ed reinstates his trip to Costa Rica but Mike decides against it so he can stay home and help out with the girls.
