1. "Sixty thousand lightyears ... seems a little closer today."

"Message in a Bottle" from season four. Voyager makes contact with the Alpha Quadrant and hope rises on the starship. Starfleet Headquarters is now aware of the predicament Voyager is in and will do everything to bring them home safely.

"Deadlock" - In season two, a space anomaly creates a duplicate Voyager. One of the starships is attacked by the Vidiians. Janeway argues with her duplicate self and ultimately self-destructs one of the ships, destroying the Vidiian's ship in the process.

"Hope and Fear" - In this last episode in season four, Voyager comes upon a vessel it seems Starfleet sent to take the crew home. However, after reconstructing the last bit of data from the Starfleet transmission, Janeway learns that the vessel was not sent by Starfleet after all. The alien responsible for the deception escapes with the ship and Voyager remains in the Delta Quadrant.

"Scorpion, Part II" is the conclusion to season three's cliffhanger episode. Seven of Nine joins the crew after Torres disables her link to the Borg. Species 8472 is forced to retreat after a torpedo with nanoprobes is sent their way.

"Future's End, Part II" - This two part episode in season three brings the crew of Voyager into the 20th Century. Janeway, Paris, and Tuvok rescue the doctor and stop a 20th Century computer industrialist from creating havoc in the 29th Century.

"The Thaw" - Kim and Torres are held hostage by fear (the Clown) in this season two episode. Torres is allowed to leave to warn the captain. Janeway eventually tricks the Clown into releasing Kim and conquers fear.

"Fair Trade" - Neelix gets involved in a narcotics ring in this season three episode. Paris and Chakotay are arrested for a crime they didn't commit. Only a trap set for the real killer saves the two crewmembers in the end.
