Floki builds boats and ships. He strongly despises Christianity. When asked by King Horik to kill Ragnar's son Bjorn, he makes Ragnar aware of the dynast's plans. Horik is later murdered by Ragnar himself. Floki is portrayed by Swedish actor Gustaf Skarsgård.

Even though he is a powerful leader, Earl Haraldson sees an enemy in everyone who doesn't share his opinion. This provokes an encounter between him and Ragnar in which the earl finds his death. His role is played by Gabriel Byrne.

His stoicism during the ceremony is said to have deserved him a place in Valhalla. Norwegian actor Thorbjørn Harr portrayed Jarl Borg.
