Following giving birth to her first child Victoria "Vicky", the Queen was placed in a wheel chair draped with a shawl and blanket. Dash jumped up onto Victoria's lap then Lehzen began pushing the chair. Coming to some stairs Lehzen stopped and four guards lifted the chair taking to the bottom of the stairs. Coming to another set of steps Victoria was annoyed so she put Dash on the floor and walked. "I may have had a baby but I'm quite capable of walking down the stairs."

Ada Lovelace referred to as "Lady Lovelace" was really Augusta Ada King Countess Lovelace. She is the only legitimate child of Anne Isabella "Annabella" Milbanke Lady Wentworth and Lord Byron a favorite poet of Queen Victoria. She pursued mathematics and political science.

But in this episode her mathematics was the only thing shown. Prince Albert went to the Royal Society and met with two pioneers of the computing industry Charles Babbage and Ada Lovelace. He was there because he was interested in such subjects, nothing more. Victoria however was jealous thinking Albert had romantic feelings for Lady Lovelace, much how Albert felt about Victoria and Lord Melbourne.

Victoria held a meeting with a silk weaver from Spitalfields who explained how local weavers were hurt by imported foreign silk. To support the local weavers, Victoria decided to hold a ball with all the costumes made from Spitalfields material. Even though Sir Robert Peel and the villagers protested the ball for the extravagance Victoria gave the ball anyway.

After the ball Victoria surveyed the ballroom filled with a melting ice sculpture and uneaten food so she decided to donate the leftover food. Victoria later met with the same silk weaver who told her himself the ball helped his trade immensely.

Following the painful birth of their eldest son, the future Edward VII, Victoria sufferEd from postpartum depression. During her slow recovery Albert received word that his and Ernst's father, Ernst I Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha, died while at a brothel type place.

While in Coburg for his brother's funeral Leopold admitted to Albert that his (Albert) mother found comfort in his (Leopold) arms. Because of this it was possible that Albert was Leopold's son, not Ernst I.

Answer: Isabella II Queen of Spain

Victoria made her first overseas trip to France where they met with King Louis Philippe I of France wearing no makeup and carrying a small purse with a stitching of Dash on it. Louis Philippe was hoping to marry his son the Duke of Montpensier to Queen Isabella II of Spain.

But historically the Duke of Montpensier married Isabella II's sister Maria Luisa having ten children. Isabella II's marriage was to Francisco de Borbon, her double first cousin and had children.

Miss Cleary, a Catholic with family in Ireland, was worried about her family there due to the potato famine. The palace chef, Francatelli, gave Miss Cleary his gold pocket watch to sell so she could send money to her desperate family. Unfortunately the money was too late as her family had left Ireland for America.

Answer: The Duke of Atholl

After an attempt to assassinate Victoria she and Albert travelled to the Scottish Highlands to the home of the Duke of Atholl. While on ride with their entourage they became bored of the entertainment provided and made an escape only to become lost. They were taken in by an elderly couple who had no idea they were Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.

They enjoyed their freedom before being found the following morning. Albert stoked the fire and found the manner in which the trout was cooked was wonderful. Victoria learned to darn socks and in the morning the elderly woman gave Victoria a wooden thing for her darning practice.

After Princess Victoria "Vicky" was down with a severe fever that could kill her, Victoria relented and dismissed Lehzen. After Vicky's recovery Victoria and Albert came to the Queen's office to meet with Prime Minister Peel and the Duke of Wellington to inform them that the bill repealing the Corn Laws had passed. Secondly Mr. Drummond had been killed when he stopped a bullet intended for Prime Minister Peel.

Answer: Queen Charlotte

The King of Hanover also known as the Duke of Cumberland confronted Victoria at the intermission of Gioachion Rossini's "La Cenerentola (Cinderella)". He later insisted on a meeting at the palace armed with his mother's will. According to the will of Queen Charlotte: "My private possessions shall be passed down to my male heirs" Since Charlotte died in November 1818 and Victoria wasn't born until May 1819 technically she might not be the owner of the necklace.

But her father was alive at the time of his mother's passing so he could pass down his property to his only child.

Answer: Eliza

Miss Skerrett who worked in the palace as the Queen's dresser made mention of the Boy Jones to her cousin Eliza. Eliza had been for the position as Queen's Dresser but had become pregnant so Miss Skerrett took her place. Miss Skerrett made regular visits to Eliza's place giving her money and told her about the Boy Jones on strictest confidence. Desperate for money for herself and the child Eliza sold the story angering both Victoria and Lehzen but Victoria still had some sympathy for Miss Skerrett.
