"Preacher" - Season 1: "He Gone" Quiz

Answer: Eugene had disappeared from the church.

Jesse screamed "go to hell" at the end of the last episode and Eugene poofed out of existence.

Jesse calmly walked over to the flyer, picked it up and walked over to unlock the church doors.

What he didn't know was Cassidy was in the rafters watching.

After Jesse and Tulip were separated as children, Jesse prayed to have her taken care of. In the same set of prayers he wished his father dead for turning her in to the child protective services.

She ran them down and knocked one of them off his bicycle. While standing over him she told the other to "give me the pants".

Walter, her uncle that she stayed with from time to time, had passed out drunk in his own front yard and the boys had taken his pants.

Until this episode it wasn't made clear what had caused the girl to be in her coma.

It was revealed that Eugene had told her he loved her and when she didn't return the sentiment he shot her. Then he shot himself. Both lived but were changed forever.

Answer: Jesse

Fiore and DeBlanc had known since early in the series. Tulip found out Cassidy was a vampire in the fifth episode.

Prior to this episode, Cassidy hadn't told Jesse what he truly was. He finally made the revelation to him after Tulip told him to.

Answer: Odin

Odin Quinncanon claimed to have the bet with Jesse from a couple of episodes ago. Jesse had bet that Odin would be converted after a single service or he could take over Jesse's inheritance.

Jesse refused to sign the transfer.

Answer: A sandwich and hashbrowns

Cassidy has broken all the "rules" of being a vampire. He eats and drinks anything he likes, and can go out in the sun as long as it isn't direct sunlight (other vampire stories have included these aspects as well).

The hashbrowns, made by Tulip, had vanilla extract in them.

During the meal, the dessert in the oven caught on fire.

Just before revealing he was a vampire to Jesse, he spewed several slurs about what he thought God was "if he even exists".

Cassidy then took off his shirt and walked into the sunlight as he asked Jesse if he would let him burn like he was doing to Eugene.

What Jesse did with Cassidy, save him or let him burn, wasn't revealed in this episode.

They argued about things in the church dining room. He made fun of her cooking and asked her what she was even doing in that town.

She called him a rude name and stormed out of the house. Emily then told Jesse that she believes in him.

Answer: He was beaten, then shot.

"I prayed for this it's all my fault" Jesse told his dad before he was executed in front of the boy during a flashback.

Jesse carried the remorse of thinking he had played a part in his father's death into the present, which explained why he had returned to the town to lead the church in the first place. He'd also promised his dad to be a good man.
