They said it was the result of an angel and a demon falling in love. Genesis was called the most powerful entity ever known, and was never meant to exist.
Jesse used the power to make the angels tell him about Genesis after they'd declined to do so.

The two angels, Deblanc and Fiore, stepped outside of the restaurant and started attacking a blonde woman. At least that's how it appeared to Jesse. When he went out to stop the attack, the blonde then attacked him and was eventually shot in the head.

Less than a minute later she reappeared inside the diner and started to follow the trio as they escaped.

They were preparing to sing the power out of his body when the Seraphim showed up at the hotel.

Deblanc and Fiore were both killed several times during the fight, as was the Seraphim. Because they were all forms of angels, they just kept coming back alive again almost immediately.

Answer: Cassidy

Cassidy walked in while Jesse had a knife to his throat and shot the Seraphim in the head.

They were trying to restrain her, because killing her allowed her to just come back.

Cassidy killing her, allowed the fight to continue.

Answer: No

They explained to him that they were just watching over the power, they didn't actually have any knowledge of how to control it, why it chose him, or anything else.

At that point he told them that God wanted him to have it, and if not, he could come down himself and take it.

Answer: A child's art project

Tulip burst in screaming about her boyfriend, without identifying who that was. She then walked out and sat in her car. A few minutes later she went back inside and agreed to repair the child's art "thing".

Answer: A large speaker

Jesse hung the speaker while Cassidy tried to talk him out of keeping the Genesis inside of him. Cassidy told him that God may not make mistakes but people do all the time.

Presumably Jesse will use the speaker because the congregation is growing and can't fit inside the church anymore, or he may also use it to broadcast his powers to a greater audience, but viewers won't find out until future episodes. Other than using the speaker for a test, Jesse didn't reveal its purpose in this episode.

Answer: Green Acre Group

The Green Acre Group had been trying to buy land and work in the small town for a couple of episodes. Mayor Miles Person and Odin Quincannon had agreed to meet with executives from the company in the previous episode.

When the company people showed up, Odin killed them all. A woman from the company tried several times to talk to the mayor on the phone during this episode.

Answer: Tulip

Emily has two kids as was shown in several episodes. Tulip, up until this point, was not known to viewers to have had a kid.

She told Emily that she had a kid once when asked if she had any experience watching children.

She didn't elaborate on what happened to the child, if it was a boy or girl, or who the father was.

Answer: Eugene

Eugene was a high school student with a major physical deformity after he attempted to kill himself. The shotgun blast didn't kill him, only disfigured him.

He had been a recurring character all season before being sent to hell.
