After getting fired from her public relations job, C.J is visited by Toby who convinces her to join the 'Bartlet for America' campaign. C.J fell into her swimming pool, as she didn't have her contacts in and did not want Toby to see her in her wet clothes.

Margaret informed Leo that she had perfected the President's signature and told him she could have signed the letter removing the President from power. Leo exclaimed, "I think the White House Counsel would say it was a coup d'etat!"

Donna just turned up at the New Hampshire campaign quarters and posed as Josh's new assistant and spent a few minutes convincing him that she would be valuable to him and the campaign. An excellent moment in the episode with Allison Janney acting her socks off. The enormity of the situation hits C.J at this point but she puts it into perspective too. After C.J delivers the line, Danny says to Leo, "She's good" and Leo replies, "Yes, she is."
