Ruby met August Booth, a visitor to Storybrooke, and was intrigued by his trips around the world. August told Ruby his favorite place was Nepal. Granny wished to see Ruby about doing extra work, but Ruby was too busy listening to August's stories.

Answer: Emma at the police station

Granny wanted Ruby to work on Saturdays, even though they previously had a deal that Ruby wouldn't work on Saturdays. Ruby didn't want the extra responsibility, and after an argument with Granny, she quit her job and ended up working with Emma at the police station. Emma offered her a job after seeing how well Ruby helped people who called the sheriff station. Ruby accepted the job and helped Emma with investigating the disappearance of Kathryn Nolan.

Answer: Regina

Mary Margaret had caught David wandering in the woods, as if he was in some sort of trance. David was taken to the hospital where Dr. Whale called David's emergency contact, Regina. David's original contact was his wife, Kathryn Nolan, but now that she was gone (persumably dead), Regina became his new emergency contact. Regina originally thought David was being accused of the disappearance of Kathryn, but Emma explained what happened.

However, David had no memories of wandering in the woods.

Ruby wasn't sure she could follow her grandmother's example at the diner. Ruby didn't know how to be like Granny. As Ruby mentioned, Granny was a tough act to follow. When Granny gave Ruby the extra responsibilities, she became scared and quit her job. Spending time with Emma made Ruby realize what she was capable of and what kind of job she wanted.

She went back, asked for her job back, and got it. Granny told Ruby that the reason she gave Ruby the extra responsibilities was because Granny was going to retire and she wanted Ruby to own the business.

Answer: Mary Margaret's

Kathryn Nolan had disappeared, presumably died, and at first, her husband David was a suspect. However, this changed when Ruby found a box that belonged to Kathryn and had fingerprints on them. Emma found out that they belonged to Mary Margaret, which made her the prime suspect in Kathryn's disappearance. Emma then arrested Mary Margaret.

Answer: stealing some eggs

Snow White had recently gone on the run from the queen and her soldiers. Snow had been accused of murdering her father, Leopold. While trying to survive on her own, she heard a noise and went into the chicken coop, where she came across some eggs. Red caught her stealing the eggs but allowed Snow to keep them.

In order to avoid revealing who she really was, Snow White referred to herself as Mary.

Answer: repel wolves

Granny claimed that the cloak Red wore repelled wolves, since it was red and red repelled wolves. When Red pointed out that no one else was wearing red, Granny said they were fools for not doing so. As it turned out, that was not why Granny wanted Red to wear the cloak - it was to shield Red from the truth about what she was.

Answer: Peter

Red and Snow White noticed a pair of wolf paw prints changing into human footprints. These footprints led to Red's window. Peter had previously snuck into Red's room. Red and Snow believed that at Wolfstime, Peter would turn into the wolf and do all the killing, but since he turned into a wolf he wasn't doing it of his own free will. Red decided to tie Peter to a tree, so he wouldn't attack anyone. Little did Red (or Snow) know but Peter was not the wolf - Red was.

Answer: Yes

Granny told a story of when she was young. She crawled onto the roof of her house but ended up tumbling from the roof. The wolf bit her arm and turned her into a wolf. The wolf in Granny's story was her husband (Red's grandfather). As the years went by, Granny stopped turning into a wolf even though her sense of smell remained.

Answer: He was killed.

As it turned out, Red was the wolf terrorizing the village. Red (as a wolf) noticed Peter and killed him. Peter was tied to a tree, since it was believed he was the wolf, so Peter had no way of escaping from Red.
Granny had informed Snow White that Red was the wolf, and the two of them raced to find her and Peter, but it was too late; Peter had already been killed.
