Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. After becoming interested in a U.S. Army presentation, Peter suggests that Chris enroll and be like which famous man?

Answer: Mickey Rooney

After a presentation at Chris' school inspires him to join the U.S. Army, Chris approaches his parents during dinner about the idea. Although Peter likes the idea, Lois is strongly against it. Peter wants Chris to join in order to be like Mickey Rooney (who likes stealing peoples' scabs and yelling at mice with his shirt off). According tho this episode, Mickey Rooney now sells 'crazy pills'.
2. Who was once Peter's psychiatrist?

Answer: Dr. Katz

After Chris decides that he wants to be in the army, Brian decides to head to the local recruiting agency in order to give them a piece of his mind about brainwashing students. While he goes to put more money in the parking meter, Stewie heads in and talks to the recruiting agent. In the process, Stewie ends up missing Gymboree, and he is disappointed by it.
3. Which of these was an activity that Peter once participated in?

Answer: Horse whispering

After the dinner conversation about the army, Peter decides to get Chris involved in an after-school activity to keep him distracted. At the school, Peter and Chris come upon a goth band in a room and Peter tries to get him in by saying that he has the same gorgeous voice as he does.

In a grand piano finale, Peter accidentally knocks the piano onto Chris' foot and he screams in pain. This gets the band to enjoy Chris' voice and they let him in.
4. How much does Stewie get in exchange for signing Brian up in the army?

Answer: $100

In the recruiting office, Stewie notices the recruiter's gun in its holster. When he is told that all recruits get one, he signs himself up as a member of the U.S. Army. For a bonus of $100, he signs Brian up as well, and the two are forced to train in boot camp.

After this, Stewie manages to shoot and kill the recurring Vaudeville performers that have been appearing frequently in past episodes.
5. What is the name of Chris' goth band?

Answer: Splashlog

After Chris joins the band, they create their own hit called 'Evil Monkey' and they perform at a school dance. During this dance, Chris tries to jump into the crowd, but they avoid him and he breaks through the floor landing in front of a card game between Adam West and a group of dogs. Although the Evil Monkey is mentioned, he doesn't appear in this episode.
6. Which book does Peter read while Chris and his band are in the garage?

Answer: 'Choose Your Own Adventure...'

Peter attempts to choose his own adventure, but he finds that his route will cause him death. He quickly tries to go back to the previous page while reassuring himself and Lois that he never moved ahead. Lois and Peter are forced out of their bed when Chris and his band are too loud to bear while they practice in the garage.
7. What is not part of Brian's final test in the army?

Answer: Creating a nine-man pyramid

After finding army training to be too tough, Brian decides that he wants to leave, but Stewie convinces him that desertion wouldn't need to be the only result and that the army would come after him like Peter went after a hockey coach one time (no clip was shown for this, though it was expected). Brian finishes his training which also involved helping a girl get over her boyfriend, completing physical tasks, and grinding pepper for diners. Stewie says that it was a great accomplishment, like getting Minnie Driver's head to fit on a movie screen.
8. Stewie and Brian are sent to Iraq following their training.

Answer: True

Following their graduation from boot camp, the two are shipped to Iraq (not FragglIraq, like Stewie suggests). While on duty in the streets of Baghdad, the two admire the local culture, but soon realize how serious the situation is when a local man blows up a convenience store. Stewie is able to call for help using random words, names, and letters.
9. Where do Stewie and Brian shoot each other?

Answer: In the foot

In order for the two to leave Iraq, they devise some clever schemes. The first involves them pretending to be gay, but this backfires on them. The second idea is Stewie's. He decides that if they shoot each other in the foot, they can get an honourable discharge and a Purple Heart for being wounded in combat.

They do this, but another soldier tells them that nothing will get them out of the war until it's over (even using two dead soldiers guarding the ammunition as an example). At that moment, democracy is formed in the country and by odd chance and luck, they are allowed to go home.
10. Which musician helps the Griffins return Chris to his normal self?

Answer: Marilyn Manson

In order to stop Chris from being a disrespectful goth, Lois and Peter go to the Grammies (by sneaking past a guard using a riddle), and locating Marilyn Manson, who they saw pictures of in Chris' closet. Peter also discovered that Manson was a man, though he was originally unsure.

They take Manson to their house where he convinces Chris to respect his parents, eat right, and to go fishing with Peter. The episode ends on a happy note.
