Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Episode 477: "The Blue and the Gray". Which character embraces the fact that their hair has gone gray in this episode?

Answer: Marge

Marge is initially shocked to discover gray hairs, despite the fact that in season 5 it was revealed that she's been gray since the age of 17. It turns out that the blue hair dye she uses causes memory problems, and she forgot she had gone gray in the first place.
2. Episode 478: "Angry Dad: The Movie". Does the "Angry Dad" film win both a Golden Globe and an Oscar?

Answer: Yes

"Angry Dad" is based on a comic book created by Bart, who is angered when Homer takes credit for its creation. After winning the Golden Globe, the film tests very badly with audiences, so on Lisa's advice, the worst parts are removed (turning it into a short film, which wins best animated short film at the Oscars).
3. Episode 479: "The Scorpion's Tale". What turns out to be the alarming side-effect of the pills Lisa creates?

Answer: Eyes pop out

Lisa uses silvertongue flowers from Springfield's desert (among other secret ingredients) to produce a drug that makes people lose all negative feelings. When Bart sneaks the drugs to many Springfield residents, many of them experience this eye-popping side-effect!
4. Episode 480: "A Midsummer's Nice Dream". Which character does Marge help with her hoarding problem?

Answer: Crazy Cat Lady

Crazy Cat Lady, also known as Eleanor Abernathy, has appeared in several "Simpsons" episodes. In this appearance, Marge helps her clean out her house, which at first has very positive results. Crazy Cat Lady begins speaking in her normal (Eleanor) voice and dressing properly. But when Marge develops her own hoarding problem, Crazy Cat Lady reverts to, well, her new self again.
5. Episode 481: "Love Is a Many Strangled Thing". What kind of museum is attached to the stadium where the Simpsons attend the Superbowl?

Answer: Museum of Tolerance

The Museum of Tolerance impresses even Lisa! The drama unfolds in this episode when Homer tickles Bart, who inadvertently wets his pants and is seen not only on the big stadium screen, but around the world.
6. Episode 482: "The Great Simpsina". This episode commences with the Simpsons picking what type of fruit?

Answer: Peaches

The family picks many more peaches than they need, leading them to eat only peach recipes for all meals. Eventually they get fed up with that diet and give them away.
7. Episode 483: "The Real Housewives of Fat Tony". Marge's sister Patty marries Fat Tony in this episode.

Answer: False

In fact it is Selma who plunges into her 6th marriage with Tony. Her prior marriages have been with Sideshow Bob, Lionel Hutz, Troy McClure, Disco Stu and Abe Simpson. Like all her other marriages, this one fails, this time because we find out that Tony is already married.
8. Episode 484: "Homer Scissorhands". Which character has a new lease on life in this episode after watching "Finding Nemo"?

Answer: Milhouse

Milhouse decides that if a fish can die, then so can anyone. So he lives life more fully, asking out Lisa (and being rejected, again) but in the process he attracts the attention of another girl, Taffy. Homer also has a very short-lived job as Springfield's favorite hairdresser, until he decides he can't stand the endless chatter from his clients.
9. Episode 485: "500 Keys". This episode sees the return of which one-time character from season 8 (hint: he appeared in the episode "You Only Move Twice")?

Answer: Hank Scorpio

Hank Scorpio is the super-villain that Homer briefly worked for in season 8. Opal (an Oprah parody) appeared in three episodes in seasons 18 and 19. Cletus is a recurring character who first appears in "Bart Gets an Elephant" (season 5) and Poochie is the animated dog that Homer voices in "The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show" (season 8).
10. Episode 486: "The Ned-Liest Catch". Ned and Edna date during this season 22 finale episode. Do they break up at the end of the episode?

Answer: No

The episode concludes with Homer and Marge inviting viewers to vote on whether Ned and Edna should break up, with the results to be revealed in the first episode of season 23.
