Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Where does SpongeBob want a job?

Answer: The Krusty Krab

SpongeBob wants a job as fry cook at the Krusty Krab, as he has dreamed of going there for years. At first, he doesn't feel confident enough to get the job, but Patrick (his best friend) ups his confidence, and SpongeBob goes in to do whatever Mr. Krabs asks him to do.
2. What item does Mr. Krabs request from SpongeBob so he can get the job?

Answer: An enhanced spatula

Actually, the spatula that Mr. Krabs wanted was (in full) a "hydrodynamic spatula with port and starboard attachments and turbo drive" which SpongeBob somehow managed to get from the Barg'N Mart (and according to SpongeBob, "did you know they only had one in stock?").
3. Which species of fish invades the Krusty Krab?

Answer: Anchovies

Anchovies come in the Krusty Krab wildly demanding Krabby Patties, but they start destroying the Krusty Krab once Squidward tells them to form a neat, single file line. SpongeBob, however, saves them with his miracle spatula.
4. How many buses arrive carrying the hungry fish?

Answer: Six

Six buses arrive carrying the anchovies, and they must have been hungry because as soon as they got to the Krusty Krab, they poured out and went into the restaurant. There must have been some trouble cramming them in too because a bus driver is clearly audible trying to restore order in the buses.
5. What, according to Patrick, did SpongeBob make from toothpicks in woodshop?

Answer: A spatula

When SpongeBob loses confidence upon getting to the site of the Krusty Krab, Patrick appears and lifts SpongeBob's confidence. One thing he says while doing so is "Who made a spatula out of toothpicks in woodshop?" to which SpongeBob answers "I did!"
6. What stuffed animals are in the ends of the weights that SpongeBob lifts in the morning while preparing for his "big day"?

Answer: A bunny and a bear

SpongeBob lifts up a bunny and bear on his weights, but unfortunately it takes him quite a lot of work to do so. In "MuscleBob BuffPants", Sandy looks at his weights and a few other of SpongeBob's workout materials and suggests that they won't get him very far.
7. Which song plays during the scene when SpongeBob is feeding the hungry fish?

Answer: Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight

During the patty scene, Tiny Tim sings "Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight". It was taken from his 1968 cover of the song (the original singer was Maurice Chevalier).
8. This episode originally aired in 1999.

Answer: True

This episode, originally, aired along with its partners on May 1, 1999. However, there were some minor changes made to the animation later and it officially aired as the pilot episode of the "SpongeBob" series on July 24, 1999.
9. Rodger Bumpass voiced SpongeBob in this episode.

Answer: False

In fact, Rodger Bumpass voiced Squidward. Tom Kenny, on the other hand, voiced SpongeBob, Gary, and the French Narrator.
10. At what time did SpongeBob's alarm clock ring?

Answer: 6:00 am

In this episode, his alarm clock rings at 6:00 am precisely. However, the time his alarm clock rings seems to vary in a few episodes, sometimes at 7:00 am, sometimes at 8:00 am.
