6. NBS had been aggressively wooing a group of Chinese investors, and when one of them heard the rumors concerning Jordan, he commented, through and interpreter, that she had disgraced NBS. This enraged Jack and he jumped to her defense. To what other corporation did Jack angrily suggest the investor take his business?

Answer: Time Warner

The businessman did not speak English and relied on his teenage daughter, Kim's translations. Kim was a big fan of Tom's and wanted to meet him before she and her father left the country. Jack, who was bending over backwards to please his Asian guests, flew them to Pahrump in the corporate jet.

After Jack finished ranting and raving, Kim apoligized and admitted that she had made a mistake in translating and that her father said that Jordan's ex-husband had brought disgrace on her.
7. Who told Jordan to put an end to her bad publicity?

Answer: Wilson White

Jordan's publicity-hungry ex-husband was writing a 'tell-all' book about their marriage and leaking false bits and pieces to the press about their sex life and the fact that Jordan does not like children. White, the chairman of NBS's parent company was not concerned with whether the stories were true or not, he just wanted them stopped.
8. On what subject did Harriet and Matt have a big argument?

Answer: Gay marriage

Harriet had previously told a reporter that the Bible said that homosexuality was a sin. She further added that the Bible also said, "Judge not lest ye be judged", however, the reporter deliberately omitted this from the article to make Harriet appear anti-gay.

Answer: Humphrey Bogart

Not known at all for his comedic talents, tough guy actor Bogart died in 1957, some dozen years before actor Matthew Perry was born.
10. What factor caused Judge Bebe to dismiss all charges against Tom?

Answer: Tom's brother

When the prosecuting attorney noticed Tom's wrist band, he discovered that the reason Tom was speeding was that he had visited his younger brother at nearby Nellis Air Force Base. Tom's brother was being deployed to Afghanistan for the third time as a member of the 820th REDHORSE squadron, which was the Air Force equivalent of the Army Corps of Engineers.

The judge acknowledged Tom's brother's dangerous assignment and understood why Tom didn't want his brother to spend his last day bailing him out of jail. All charges against Tom were dropped with the admonition to the "Studio 60" executives that they had to stop thinking that everyone between Fifth Avenue and Hollywood Blvd. was out of television's "Hee Haw".
