Harold comes home during his lunch hour and he and Jean snoop through Lindsay's room. It's comical when Harold pulls something out of a drawer and says, "Aha, birth control pills". They aren't too happy when they read what Lindsay has written about them.

Harold does nothing but make fun of the Cornish game hen, hurting Jean's feelings. Jean is trying to do different things since reading what Lindsay wrote about her parents being robots and her mother cooking the same dinner practically every night.

After Coach Fredricks realizes that Bill made the prank phone call, Bill tells him that he could be good in gym if he just was given the chance. The next day Coach Fredricks lets Bill be captain and choose the captain of the other team.

Kim says the book went on like it was written in a hurry, the author was clearly on drugs and it was boring and unorganized. Lindsay agrees with Kim and provides facts to back it up. Kim was hurt that Lindsay didn't stick up for her, not that what the Weirs were saying was true.

Bill calls a meeting on the mound between he, Sam (pitcher) and Neal (catcher) because he always wanted to call a meeting on the mound. Neal walks up and says, "Meeting on the mound. Very cool." Neal had also told the previous batter, "Hey man, sure had a lot of fun with your wife last night", to which the kid replied, "My what?".

The next batter after the meeting on the mound is one of the jocks. He pops the ball up and Bill catches it after which he, Neal and Sam celebrate as if they had just won the world series. Alan brings them back to earth by saying, "That's the first out, you morons".

Harold questions Jean about whether or not the grocery store is out of regular food because she's trying to cook different things. They get into an argument and Harold realizes that Jean thinks he doesn't appreciate her. They make up by having sex.

Harold and Jean have been in their room having sex all afternoon. First Sam, Neal and Bill come home. Sam is calling for his parents and listens at their door. When they realizes what's going on, Bill says "Ewww" and goes back down the hall to the living room. Jean comes out of the bedroom pulling on her sweater when Lindsay comes in with Kim.

Then when Harold comes out, Lindsay says Kim is here. Harold says nice to see you and thanks her for giving Lindsay a ride home. Jean tells Lindsay to order some pizza for dinner and she and Harold go back into the bedroom.
