1. Optimus Prime

Answer: Peter Cullen

Leader of the Autobots, Optimus Prime has the form of a Freightliner Semi in transformed mode. Seeing himself as the protector of all life, Prime is usually calm and wise. Peter Cullen (born 1941) is a voice actor who has also voiced Eeyore in the "Winnie the Pooh" franchise and KARR on "Knight Rider" (1982-1986).

He based his interpretation on Optimus Prime on his Vietnam Veteran brother Larry. Peter Cullen also voiced the character of Ironhide.
2. Bumblebee

Answer: Dan Gilvezan

Bumblebee often serves as a scout or messenger, roles where his small space (allowing him to get into and out of tight areas) are an asset. He is particularly close friends with human Spike Witwicky. Bumblebee transforms into a Volkswagen Beetle. Dan Gilvezan (born 1950) has also voiced the title character on the cartoon series "Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends" (1981-1983).
3. Jazz

Answer: Scatman Crothers

Jazz transforms into a Porsche 935. He is fascinated by Earth culture and is himself very cool and stylish. Actor and musician Scatman Crothers (1910-1986) also voiced the title character in "Hong Kong Phooey" (1974) and Meadowlark Lemon on "Harlem Globetrotters" (1970-1971). Since Scatman Crothers died shortly after the release of the 1986 Transformers movie, appearances by Jazz in the third season of the television series are usually cameos.
4. Ratchet

Answer: Don Messick

Ratchet transformed into a Nissan Onebox Vanette Ambulance. He serves as the doctor/medic of the Transformers, often being called upon to repair his injured comrades. Don Messick (1926-1997) is also known as the original voice of Scooby-Doo, Bamm-Bamm Rubble, and Boo-Boo Bear. In the "Transformers" series, he also voiced Scavenger and Gears.
5. Smokescreen

Answer: Jack Angel

Smokescreen, who transforms into a Datsun 280ZX Turbo, made the majority of his appearances in season two of the series. Although he got along well with his comrades, his willingness to use deception and cheating in achieving his goals came from him being the Autobot who most thought like a Decepticon. Jack Angel (born 1930) has also voiced characters in the "Super Friends" and "G.I. Joe" franchises. Jack Angel also voiced Omega Supreme and Ultra Magnus.
6. Hound

Answer: Ken Samson

Hound transformed into a Mitsubishi J59 Military Jeep. If Jazz is fascinated by Earth culture, Hound is fascinated by the natural wonders of the Earth. Early in the series, Hound was also a close friend of Spike Witwicky, a role taken later by Bumblebee. Ken Samson (1927-2012) also voiced Rabbit in the "Winnie the Pooh" franchise.
7. Blaster

Answer: Buster Jones

Blaster transforms into a radio-cassette deck, and true to his image is fascinated with the music of Earth. His missions often involve his abilities with communication as he can transmit signals up to 4,000 miles. Buster Jones (1943-2014) had a live-action role as the host of the musical series "Soul Unlimited" and many voice acting roles in series like "The Real Ghostbusters" and "Captain Planet and the Planeteers".
8. Grimlock

Answer: Gregg Berger

Grimlock transforms into a Tyrannosaurus Rex dinosaur. He prizes physical strength above everything else and has contempt for the weak. He is also known for referring to himself as "Me Grimlock". Gregg Berger (born 1950) has also voiced characters in the "Garfield" franchise and the "Final Fantasy X" video game.
9. Megatron

Answer: Frank Welker

Megatron transforms into a 1913 U.N.C.L.E. Walther P38 . He is the ruthless and cunning evil leader of the Decepticons. During the movie, the nearly dead Megatron was remade as the laser cannon Galvatron. Frank Welker (born 1946) has voiced Fred Jones in the "Scooby-Doo" franchise as well as the title character in "Jabberjaw" (1976).

He also voiced the characters of Soundwave and Sludge. (In the 1986 movie, Galvatron was voiced by Leonard Nimoy).
10. Shockwave

Answer: Corey Burton

Shockwave transforms into a laser cannon and served as the commander of the Decepticons on Cybertron when many of them migrated to the Earth. This brutal and logical Decepticon is one of Megatron's most loyal lieutenants. Corey Burton (born 1955) has also voiced characters in "Duck Tales" and "House of Mouse". He also voiced the characters of Sunstreaker, Branwn, and Spike Witwicky.
11. Starscream

Answer: Christopher Collins

Starscream transformers into a F-15 Eagle fighter aircraft. The most treacherous of Megatron's lieutenants, Starscream continually seeks to make himself the leader of the Decepticons, over-rating his abilities. Christopher Collins (1949-1994) also voiced Cobra Commander in the series "G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero" (1983-1986). Starscream is the inspiration for the TV Trope of the disloyal follower. Christopher Collins also voiced Wheeljack and Reflector.
12. Devastator

Answer: Arthur Burghardt

Devastator is the name given to the combined form of the six Constructions. His physical size and immense strength make him an intimidating foe, but the competing thoughts of the individual Constructicons limit his ability to think. Arthur Burghardt (born 1947) voiced Destro on the 1980s "G.I. Joe" cartoon and also had a live-action role on the soap opera "One Life to Live"
13. Bruticus

Answer: Roger C. Carmel

Bruticus is the combined form of the five Combaticons. He is extremely violent but of limited intelligence. He uses a sonic stun gun and a missile cannon. Roger C. Carmel (1932-1986) also portrayed Harry Mudd in the "Star Trek" universe and Colonel Mudd on "Batman" (1966-1968). Roger C. Carmel also the Stunticon Motormaster.
14. Bombshell

Answer: Michael Bell

Bombshell is one of the insecticons and transforms into a Japanese rhinoceros beetle. He is a very intelligent foe and has uses mind control attacks on the Autobots several times. Michael Bell (born 1938) has also voiced characters on "The Smurfs" and "Snorks". Michael Bell has also voiced the characters Prowl, Swoop, and Scrapper.
15. Blitzwing

Answer: Ed Gilbert

Blitzwing was a multi-changer, able to transform into both a Type 74 Tank and MiG-25 Foxbat aircraft. Cruel and loud-mouth, his character became much less belligerent after the events of the movie. Ed Gilbert (1933-1999) also appeared in "The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries" and "Tom and Jerry: The Movie". Ed Gilbert also voiced Thrust.
