Answer: The Scavengers / Trash People

The Scavengers are a community first introduced in Season 7, Episode 8, "Hearts Still Beating." They live in a junkyard, where their leader Jadis makes junkyard art, and they seem to have created their own language and way of speaking. Rick recruits them to fight against Negan, but they end up double crossing him. Simon eventually has all of The Scavengers slaughtered except for Jadis, who joins the Alliance and returns to her original name of Anne.

Answer: The Whisperers

The Whisperers make their first appearances in episode 9 of season 6, "Who Are you Now?" They camp in the woods and skin walkers to make masks that allow them to merge with and direct herds as biological weapons. Their first-in-command is Alpha and their second, her right-hand man, Beta. Alpha eventually anoints another woman Gamma.

Answer: The Wolves

Owen makes his first appearance in season 5, episode 16, "Conquer," when he encounters Morgan alone in the woods, holds him at gunpoint, and threatens to rob him, but Morgan knocks him out. Owen becomes the leader of a pack of ruthless bandits and slayers who carve the letter W on their foreheads. They attack Alexandria, kill many, and are fended off with the help of Carol.

Answer: Grady Memorial Hospital

Beth is taken prisoner at Grady Memorial Hospital and, along with Noah, forced to work as an orderly. The place is run by a former Atlanta police lieutenant, Dawn Lerner. The group has developed a type of slave system by which they "rescue" survivors and treat them and then force them to work off their debt.

Answer: The CDC

Dr. Edwin Jenner, lone inhabitant of the CDC when Rick's group arrives there, is played by actor Noah Emmerich. He first appears in season 1, episode 5, "Wildfire." He commits suicide by causing the CDC to self-destruct. At first, he plans to keep Rick's group inside with him, but after repeated threats, he lets them out. Jacqui, however, chooses to remain behind and die with him.

Answer: The Saviors

The Saviors headquarters is called The Sanctuary, and it is there that Negan wields power and keeps his harem. However, the Saviors also have several outposts. Negan's "lieutenants" - Simon, Paula, Dwight, Gavin, Laura, Arat, Regina, Gary, D.J., and, eventually, even Eugene - form his inner circle.

Some of them, like Paula and Simon, are leaders of their own outposts. The Saviors are eventually defeated by an Alliance of Oceanside, the Kingdom, the Hilltop, and Alexandria.

Answer: Atlanta Nursing Home

Audiences meet the Vatos Gang in season 1, episode 4, "Vatos," when the gang captures Glenn in a confrontation over a bag of guns. The gang is led by Guillermo, who also goes by "G." Guillermo turns out to be a former janitor for the Atlanta Nursing Home, and the gang members are merely trying to survive and care for the elderly residents of the nursing home, who were abandoned by staff at the start of the apocalypse.

Answer: St. Sarah's Church

Father Gabriel's first camp is the church where he served as an Episcopal priest - St. Sarah's in Georgia. He lives off the canned food from a recent food drive. When he runs out of food, he is forced to start scavenging, which is when Rick's group encounters him. Gabriel goes through a great deal of character evolution and eventually becomes a councilmember for the Alexandria Safe-Zone.

Answer: Jerry's bunker

Siblings Sasha and Tyreese Williams make their first camp in a bunker buried in their neighbor Jerry's backyard in Florida. They stay there for several months, until they run out of supplies, form a larger group, and eventually end up at the West Georgia Correctional Facility with Rick's group. They also spend some time in Woodbury.

Answer: Magna's Group

Magna's Group has survived for years in various camps that have been destroyed over time. Judith encounters them surrounded by walkers and fires her father's gun to rescue them. Michonne is reluctant to take them into Alexandria, but they are eventually given refuge at the Hilltop, where they become productive members.
