Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. "Innocence": A rocket launcher makes a great birthday present. Oz asks Willow, "So, do you guys steal weapons from the Army a lot?" What is her reply?

Answer: "Well, we don't have cable, so we have to make our own fun."

Willow and Oz are waiting in the van for Cordelia and Xander. Willow tries to make out with Oz to make Xander jealous.
2. "Phases": Werewolves are people too. Who does Xander first think the werewolf is?

Answer: Larry

Xander bravely confronts Larry in the locker room. As it turns out, Larry is not a werewolf, he's just gay.
3. "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered": Messing with love spells can be tricky business. When Amy helps Xander cast a love spell, who is the only one NOT affected by it?

Answer: Cordelia

Xander gets Amy to help him cast a love spell on Cordelia. Unfortunately the spell affects everyone BUT Cordelia, and wackiness ensues. The funniest part is when Drusilla hits on Xander, and almost turns him into a vampire.
4. "Passion": In case you accidentally invite a vampire into your house, there is a spell to reverse the welcome right. Who gives Giles the book with the spell to reverse a vampire's invitation right?

Answer: Jenny

This is one of the most powerful and shocking episodes ever done. When Angelus (Angel) kills Miss Calendar, we are finally shown his true evil nature, and we know that there can't be a simple solution and a happy ending. It also has one of the best monologues ever written (spoken in sections by Angelus throughout the episode): "Passion.

It lies in all of us. Sleeping, waiting, and though unwanted, unbidden, it will stir, open its jaws, and howl. It speaks to us. Guides us. Passion rules us all, and we obey. What other choice do we have? Passion is the source of our finest moments.

The joy of love, the clarity of hatred, and the ecstasy of grief. It hurts sometimes more than we can bear. If we can live without passion, maybe we'd know some kind of peace, but we would be hollow. Empty rooms, shuttered and dank. Without passion, we'd be truly dead."
5. "Killed By Death": Evil vampires can visit you while you're in the hospital. What does Angelus mockingly bring to the hospital as a gift for Buffy?

Answer: flowers

Unfortunately vampires can enter a hospital because it is a public building.
6. "I Only Have Eyes For You": If you live on a Hellmouth, open your locker with caution. Who gets attacked by the "locker monster"?

Answer: Xander

When Buffy and Xander walk into the library, Willow sees his torn shirt and asks, "Xander, what happened? Did Cordelia win another round in the broom closet?"
7. "Go Fish": Steroids are bad. How was the Sunnydale Swim Team getting their daily dose of steroids?

Answer: steam from the sauna

9. "Becoming Part 2": Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. Who volunteers to help Buffy stop Angelus? (At first she thinks it's a trick.)
