Captain Peacock (Frank Thornton) is the floorwalker in the ladies & gentlemen department in Grace Brothers. Mr. Lucas (Trevor Bannister) is the junior salesman in the gents department. Other important characters: Mr. Humphries (John Inman), Mrs. Slocombe (Mollie Sugden) and Miss Brahms (Wendy Richard). "You've all done very well!"

Elizabeth (Josephine Tewson) and Emmett (David Griffin) are the neighbours of Hyacinth (Patricia Routledge) and Richard Bucket (Clive Swift), pronounced 'Bouquet' of course! Hyacinth keeps inviting them for coffee and it drives them mad. Hopefully she won't sing at Emmett next time!

Neil (Nigel Planer) and Vyvyan (Ade Edmonson) are students living with Rick (Rik Mayall) and Mike (Chris Ryan), in the most chaotic show ever! Neil is the hippie, while Vyvyan is a punk who does nothing but destroy everything. One of the funniest episodes to me has to be "Bambi" with the University Challenge bit!

Polly (Connie Booth) is at the reception of "Fawlty Towers", and Manuel (Andrew Sachs) is, well he comes from Barcelona! Most of the time, Polly is the one helping Basil Fawlty (John Cleese) when he gets into trouble (very often) Manuel tries to help but it would be faster to train an ape, right?

Answer: "Blackadder"

Lord Melchett is played by Stephen Fry in "Blackadder II", and Prince Regent is played by Hugh Laurie in "Blackadder The Third". Edmund Blackadder himself was played by Rowan Atkinson. Let's not forget Baldrick (Tony Robinson), who, along with Rowan Atkinson, appeared in all the episodes of "Blackadder" and all the specials also.

Tim is played by Martin Freeman and Gareth is played by Mackenzie Crook in this hilarious Britcom! They work next to each other in the office. Tim is much more interested in Dawn and Gareth about anything concerning the army (territorial of course). I'm sure David (Ricky Gervais) has a song about this somewhere!

Geraldine is played by Dawn French, and Hugo is played by James Fleet in this story about a female vicar taking over the town of Dibley! Dawn French is married to Lenny Henry, another British comedian, who had his own show called "Chef".

In this wonderful show we follow Jean (Judi Dench) and Lionel (Geoffrey Palmer), former sweethearts who lost touch of each other during the Korean war but finally met again 38 years later. Judith (Moira Brooker) is Jean's daughter, and Alistair (Philip Bretherton) becomes her husband later in the show.

Did you know that this show was voted the funniest Britcom in England, just before "Blackadder" and "Vicar Of Dibley"? Del and Rodney Trotter are brothers and their plan is to make as much money as possible, but it always fails!

Edina is played by Jennifer Saunders, and Saffy (her daughter) is played by Julia Sawalha. Another important character is Patsy Stone (Joanna Lumley). Edina and Patsy are lifelong friends.
