Answer: Jabberwock Island

This class of ultimates from Hope's Peak Academy is sent to Jabberwock Island. The first scene of the game does take place at the academy but the students are sent on a field trip to Jabberwock Island, the collective name for a group of tropical islands, by their teacher. The field trip is initially advertised as a reward full of peace and fun but things quickly change.

Answer: Usami

Usami serves, initially, as the class's teacher who vows to protect them from some unknown entity. She is a white rabbit with a magic wand and a tutu/dress. However, when Monokuma arrives, he attacks Usami and transforms her into Monomi who is now half pink/half white with no magical powers and wearing a diaper.

In appearance, she resembles Monokuma who now takes charge of the field trip.

Answer: The old building by the hotel

Byakuya, desperate to keep anyone from committing a murder, decides it is best to keep everyone together and throws a party in the old building next to the hotel. He runs security and obsessively searches everyone and everything that can be used as a weapon.

Answer: Nagito

Nagito comes up with the idea to draw straws to see who will have to clean up the old building for the party. He draws the short straw, which everyone laughs at because as the Ultimate Lucky Student, Nagito became unlucky at having cleaning duty all by himself.

Answer: Under a table

The lights go out because of a blown fuse and when they return, Byakuya is missing. His body was discovered under the table, stabbed multiple times. It clearly becomes apparent that Byakuya was after a knife that someone taped under the table with glow-in-the-dark tape. Byakuya saw this with his night-vision goggles and went to retrieve it.

But it was a trap and someone stabbed him in the dark.

Answer: Peko

Peko was assigned to watch the chest containing all of the weapons Byakuya confiscated. She stood guard in the office by herself. However, after the lights returned, Peko was missing from her post and later refused to say where she had been. This immediately cast her as the first prime suspect but Hajime later reveals that Peko had an embarrassing bathroom emergency and spent a lot of time in there.

This is backed up by Nekomaru who had a similar need but kept finding the bathroom locked.

Answer: Gundham

Of the sixteen students, twelve of them were in the reception hall when the lights went off. Peko was guarding the weapons case in the office. Teruteru was in the kitchen cooking. Chiaki stood at the front door on guard duty to prevent Monokuma from entering. Fuyuhiko did not attend the party because of his anti-social behavior. He swung by later in the day but was denied access by Chiaki.

The location of where everyone was when the lights went out is important because once the students determine the killer stabbed Byakuya from under the floorboards, no one inside the reception hall can be the murderer. This is because the killer would have needed a light to leave the room and since no light appeared in the reception hall, it couldn't be anyone there. There was no way to reach the underside of the building from the outside so that rules out Chiaki and Fuyuhiko. Since Peko was in the bathroom, that leaves Teruteru as the only option.

Answer: Nagito

Nagito actually planned to murder Byakuya (although it is unclear if he actually intended to go through with it) by planting the knife under the table and blowing the fuses so the lights would go out. Nagito knew Byakuya would jump to seize the knife and intended to stab him then. However, Teruteru, who was cooking for the party in the kitchen, caught wind of the plan and intended to murder Nagito instead.

Teruteru knew Nagito would do for the knife so when the fuses blew, Teruteru raced under the building and stabbed his victim through the gaps in the flooring. However, he actually stabbed Byakuya by mistake since Byakuya jumped under the table.

Answer: The bone in the meat

Teruteru knew that Byakuya would search everyone and everything thoroughly, so he had to hide the skewer somewhere. The only thing Byakuya didn't search was the food which Teruteru suspected would be the case. He hid the skewer in the large bone of meat he prepared which he could easily retrieve when needed.

Answer: Deep frying

Teruteru, the Ultimate Chef, receives the "Deep-Fried Teruteru" execution. He is tied to a pole, splattered with egg and flour before being dragged upside-down through the air by a helicopter. The helicopter drops him into a volcano where he floats to the top having been deep-fried in the lava.
