Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The Clown's weapon is known as "Madame Butterfly". What type of melee weapon is this?

Answer: Butterfly knife

Upon striking a Survivor with it, The Clown will laugh very loudly as he twirls the blade in hand as his cooldown.
2. The Clown's power is the Afterpiece Tonic, which aids him greatly in winning chases with fleeing Survivors. At a base, the Clown starts with four bottles of Afterpiece Tonic. When thrown at Survivors, what is one of the things that will happen to them?

Answer: They will be slowed down

They will also scream and their vision will be blurred. The main attraction of this tonic is its slowdown effect, instrumental in allowing The Clown to quickly catch up and hit them.
3. The second part of The Clown's power is the Afterpiece Antidote. When thrown at Survivors, what will happen?

Answer: They will be sped up

This was clearly meant to be used on The Clown himself, as it will speed him up for a brief period of time. This part doesn't really have an impact in chases, due to the fact The Clown is not affected by his own Tonic and thus does not need to cleanse himself of it. Tonic is a good idea to use in chase, but Antidote can come in handy when carrying a downed Survivor; the Clown can throw the Antidote, pick up the Survivor, then walk through the Antidote cloud to allow him to reach a hook faster. In that sense, it can become a mini-Agitation of sorts.
4. The Clown begins the game with four bottles, which can be any mixture of Afterpiece Tonic and Antidote that the player would like. After depleting those four bottles, how does The Clown obtain more?

Answer: Taking time to reload

Upon taking several seconds to reload, the Clown can fully replenish his stock of Afterpiece materials. He will fully replenish whether he has only used one bottle or has used them all, so it's usually only worthwhile to take time reloading when close to out, or out, of Afterpiece.
5. Every Killer gets three teachable perks that, when acquired, can be given to other Killers. The Clown's first perk in that regard can be used to briefly block off window vaults that the Killer using the perk has gone through, as to deny Survivors the opportunity to use them in a chase. What perk is this?

Answer: Bamboozle

Bamboozle can only be applied to one window at a time, and it cannot be applied to pallets when the Legion vaults them. It is an amazing perk on Leatherface in particular, whose biggest weakness is window vaults. Taking away that avenue of escape for Survivors makes his chainsaw even scarier than it was before.

In general, though, it is hardly a bad choice on most Killers apart from The Nurse or projectile killers; taking away a major resource from Survivors to extend a chase can really pay off.
6. The Clown's level 35 teachable perk greatly slows down the healing speed of Survivors within the Killer's Terror Radius. What is it?

Answer: Coulrophobia

Coulrophobia was introduced at a time when the Survivor perk Self-Care was far, far more potent, and was essentially being used by Survivors to heal themselves mid-chase. At that point in time, Coulrophobia was flat out incredible by effectively denying them the ability to do this.

A few Patches later, Self-Care had been rightfully greatly nerfed, would go on to not see as much use in chases, and as such, Coulrophobia became a lot less useful. Still, Killers such as The Doctor, who can extend his Terror Radius in a couple different ways, can get some value out of this perk, especially on small maps such as Hawkins National Laboratory or The Game.
7. The Clown's third and final teachable perk is perhaps his most well-known of them all, and one of the most hated in the game (by Survivors). When using it, Killers can greatly regress generator progress shortly after hooking a Survivor. What is it?

Answer: Pop Goes The Weasel

Affectionately referred to as "Pop" or "PGTW", Pop will regress a generator by a great deal immediately if a generator is kicked within a moderate timeframe of a Survivor being hooked. It is unsurprisingly one of the best Killer perks in the game, as it can be used to kick Survivors off of a near-completed generator, then help shutdown their efforts at actually completing the generator by bringing a generator at 99% completion down to a much lesser completion rate, where it will then experience regular regression moving forward.
8. The Deathslinger may take the mantle of a first person shooter-esque Killer, but before he came out, The Clown could give it a shot at performing this function when equipped with this Iridescent add-on. This add-on gives Survivors the Exposed status effect if The Clown is able to hit them directly with a bottle of Afterpiece Tonic. What add-on is this?

Answer: Redhead's Pinky Finger

This add-on is pretty solid, especially if a Survivor does not know to try and dodge the actual bottle itself, a skill which never comes in useful other than dealing with a Clown that has this add-on.
9. This Iridescent add-on reveals Survivor auras to the Clown if they are either hit by Afterpiece Tonic or Antidote. What add-on is this?

Answer: Tattoo's Middle Finger

This add-on's usage case is very limited, as The Clown is only likely to want to throw a bottle at a Survivor he is chasing, thus could already see and would not need to know the aura of anyway. It has bite-sized application chasing Survivors at the Killer Shack.

But even then, the Clown should not be throwing bottles unless he can see the Survivor, in order to predict their movement. Throwing bottles errantly is wasteful, and that's what this add-on encourages to some extent. It can chew through Survivor perks such as Distortion, which isn't bad. That said, for an Iridescent, you'd expect it to ideally have more broad application.
10. Most Killers in the game move at 115% the base speed juxtaposed to Survivors. When not using his power, is The Clown a 115% movement speed Killer?

Answer: Yes

The integral function of The Clown is being effective in chases, and this function would be ruined - or at least greatly hindered - if he was not a 115% movement speed killer. Thus, it is good that he is able to effectively run Survivors down without much trouble.
