Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Nemesis joined The Hag and Demogorgon as just the third Killer to not require the user of an actual melee weapon to batter Survivors with for their basic attacks. What does Nemesis use for his basic attack?

Answer: His fists

Simply put, Nemesis decided that actual weapons were beneath him for the task of dealing with the game's Survivors. He will be happy to simply stroll right up to a Survivor and simply launch a brutalizing punch using his enormous fists.
2. Nemesis' power is known as T-Virus owing to its origin within the "Resident Evil" universe. Uniquely, Nemesis became the first Killer in "Dead by Daylight" to bring a couple pals of his to help track and kill Survivors with. Nemesis gains the favor of thematically appropriate zombies, which will roam the trial grounds on any map and can potentially reveal the location of Survivor passersby. How many zombies does Nemesis have aiding him?

Answer: Two

Zombies are predictably quite sluggish, moving slower than even the simple walking speed of a Survivor. This can, however, be mitigated through the use of add-ons. Additionally, Nemesis can see the auras of his zombies highlighted in white- so if the player using him sees what appears to be a zombie chasing after a Survivor, the Nemesis player can head over there and investigate the scene, potentially uncovering a sneaky Survivor who otherwise would've gone completely undetected.

Zombies are also difficult to truly deal with for Survivors- they will continuously respawn until the end of the game, and Survivors can only 'kill' them by dropping a pallet onto a zombie or hitting one with the stunning aspect of the Head On perk. They can be blinded by flashlights or firecrackers, though Survivors doing this are advised to either leave or be ready to leave the area they're in- Nemesis will likely see the aura of a zombie being blinded which would giveaway the location of a Survivor if they stayed in the area.
3. One aspect of T-Virus stems from within Nemesis' special attack called the Tentacle Strike. Using Tentacle Strike to hit Survivors or kill Nemesis' own zombies will build up the Mutation level, beginning at I and maximizing at III. Which of the following is one difference between a Nemesis at Mutation I and a Nemesis at Mutation III?

Answer: Tentacle Strike can break pallets and walls at Mutation III

Tentacle Strike at Mutation II or higher can break pallets and breakable walls extremely quickly, making Nemesis potent in chase. At Mutation III, Tentacle Strike will retain its ability to break pallets and breakable walls incredibly fast, while also gaining a sizeable range increase and allowing Nemesis to move faster while he is holding the prepared Tentacle Strike, presumably to aim with it.
4. Games with Nemesis involved impose a unique status effect for Survivors to be wary of: Contaminated. Being Contaminated near Nemesis or a zombie can be quite deadly. What negative effect of the following befalls a Survivor who is Contaminated?

Answer: They will now be injured by Tentacle Strike and zombie attacks

A Survivor who has not been Contaminated can take a hit from either Tentacle Strike or a zombie and not actually be injured. Doing so will afflict them with this status effect and, if it was a Tentacle Strike, will progress Nemesis' Mutation rate significantly, making serious progress on moving towards the next Mutation level. Taking a hit from either source while Contaminated will simply injure the Survivor, and won't offer as much progression to Nemesis' mutation if it was a Tentacle Strike.
5. Every Killer gets three teachable perks that, when acquired, can be given to other Killers. Nemesis' first perk in that regard will show the Killer using it the auras of all Survivors right at the start of the game for several seconds. What perk is this?

Answer: Lethal Pursuer

Lethal Pursuer is a very simple beast that does exactly what it sounds like with no luck or randomness involved. Because it fulfills such a simple albeit useful function, it could be used on just about anybody.

The Nurse in particular can be extremely deadly with this perk due to the fact she can pass through walls and other obstacles, allowing her to use this perk and begin a chase with someone blindingly fast.

The Ghost Face and Michael Myers can use this perk to get the ball rolling with their respective stalking mechanics. They can also strategically use the location of other Survivors they don't immediately go for to position themselves in a way where they could stalk someone and not be spotted by someone else, allowing them to keep the element of surprise for a bit longer than usual.

Pinhead can use this perk to find the location of the Lament Configuration reliably at the start of the match, beginning the game with with immediate Chain Hunt and plenty of momentum.
6. Nemesis' second perk essentially allows the Killer using it to try 'spreading' the Oblivious status effect. Upon injuring someone, any Survivors who are also injured in addition to the one who just got injured will receive the Oblivious status effect for a moderate period of time. What perk is this?

Answer: Hysteria

Hysteria can be put to very efficient use by the Plague, as she keeps Survivors injured more consistently than any Killer in the game. The inability to hear her coming can also let her sneak up on injured Survivors and pick up easy downs as a result.

In general, a Survivor with the Oblivious status effect is in a bit of trouble and can easily find themselves out positioned when they're unexpectedly approached by the Killer. As such, pairing Hysteria with perks that can make healing hard, such as Sloppy Butcher or Coulrophobia, could produce useful results.
7. Nemesis' third and final teachable perk is essentially a trap based perk for generators. When the Killer using it damages a generator, then later downs a Survivor by any means, any generators damaged will explode, causing any Survivor actively repairing it to scream and become inflicted with the Incapacitated status effect briefly. What perk is this?

Answer: Eruption

Eruption is best paired with Pop Goes The Weasel for maximum efficiency, as damaging a generator is a time consuming action for the Killer and, as such, you'd want to make the most of the time spent. That said, Freddy, Nurse or the Blight would probably be best suited for Eruption, as they have excellent mobility as to best avoid getting bogged down trying to spread this perk out.
8. This add-on, an Ultra Rare, grants Nemesis' zombies an enormous spike in movement speed for a moderate period of time after a generator is completed. What add-on is this?

Answer: Shattered S.T.A.R.S Badge

This add-on can make Nemesis' zombies extremely annoying or even deadly to deal with, as they'll be much more suited to chasing Survivors off of generators, responding to noise, or helping Nemesis corral and corner one while he is chasing them.
9. This add-on, an Ultra Rare, can make Survivors curing themselves of the Contaminated status effect briefly suffer from the Exposed status effect for utilizing vaccines to do so. What add-on is this?

Answer: Iridescent Umbrella Badge

This add-on can be useful at making things hard on Survivors who entered the match without an item, pre-emptively opened a vaccine case, retrieved one, and then proceeded to use it mid-chase to try and make a chase last longer, as this add-on will cause that effort to directly backfire on them by allowing Nemesis to instadown them with a basic attack.
10. Nemesis is quite the terrifying, imposing figure when he runs at a Survivor- his demeanor is extremely agitated and aggressive as always, and he is seen quite literally charging at them, which is naturally intimidating. When assessing how far away he is from tearing your poor Survivor character apart, we must first consider his base movement speed. How much faster is Nemesis' base movement speed juxtaposed to a Survivor?

Answer: 115%

Nemesis moves at what is generally considered 'basic movement speed'- a rate of 4.6 meters per second, compared to the Survivors who move at 4 meters per second when running at base. When he is in Mutation II, however, he becomes much harder to contend with in chase than the average Killer, as he can break pallets with Tentacle Strike almost immediately- losing far, far less distance as the Survivor flees than the average Killer would as they simply break the pallet with a standard break action.
