Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. A gambler

Answer: Ace Visconti

Ace's perks are mostly built around luck. Ace in the hole gives items you find in chests a random add-on, Open Handed increases aura reading ranges at a rate determined by how many Survivors are left alive, and Up the Ante increases the luck of all Survivors by a certain amount depending on how many are left alive.
2. The protagonist of the "Halloween" series

Answer: Laurie Strode

Laurie's perks encourage aggressiveness, but can leave the player a bit exposed as they divert the Killer's attention. Sole Survivor cuts off the Killer's ability to see the player's aura depending on how many Survivors are dead, Object of Obsession automatically makes the player the obsession and enables them to see the Killer's aura, while also revealing the Killer's aura to the player, and her most famous perk, Decisive Strike, gives the player the opportunity to break free from a Killer's grasp if they get picked back up within a certain time of being hooked, in exchange for making that player become the obsession if they do break free.
3. Described by the game as "a nervous leader"

Answer: Dwight Fairfield

The poster child for making conservative, locker-hiding plays, Dwight's perks encourage players to remain close together as they attempt to escape. Bond lets the player see the auras of other Survivors within a certain range, Prove Thyself speeds up the progression of generator repair speeds if one or more other players are working on the same generator as the person with the perk, and Leader speeds up healing, sabotage, rescue and exit gate opening speeds to all players within a small range of the perk's user.
4. He originates from " (insert first name) vs Evil Dead"

Answer: Ash Williams

Ash's perks reward and encourage aggressive, selfless play by the player. Flip Flop converts a significant portion of the player's recovery progression while in the dying state to wiggle progression, which can situationally make make it easier to escape a Killer's grasp if they don't immediately pick you up. Buckle Up allows the player to, after healing a teammate from the downed state, see the Killer's aura for a handful of seconds while also granting this benefit to the healed Survivor. Mettle of Man, upon achieving three "protection hits", or, taking a hit from a Killer while distracting them from another Survivor, grants the player an essential immunity to the next hit they take.
5. Described by the game as a 'quiet botanist'

Answer: Claudette Morel

Claudette's perks enable the player to take on something akin to a 'medic' role for the team. Empathy lets the player see the auras of injured or downed Survivors at a great distance. Botany Knowledge increases the speed at which the player can administer healing. Finally, Self Care enables the player to heal themselves without a medkit, albeit at a far slower rate than with a medkit.
6. One of two "Stranger Things" protagonists, one who aspires to be a journalist

Answer: Nancy Wheeler

Nancy's perks can give the player situationally useful data on their surroundings, or can allow them to make use of the environment as best as possible. Better Together reveals the aura of a generator the player is repairing to all Survivors within a moderate range. Fixated lets the player see their own scratch marks, and lets them walk faster when fully healthy. Finally, Inner Strength is activated by cleansing a totem, and lets the player heal one stage when inside of a locker for a certain amount of time.
7. Described by the game as a "quiet artist"

Answer: Jeff Johansen

Jeff's perks can be beneficial to a player looking to try evading the detection of the Killer. Breakdown allows him to immediately destroy a hook the player was on upon being saved, and reveals the Killer's aura to that player for a few seconds afterward.

Aftercare lets the player and one other player see each other's auras from an unlimited range when they save one another from a hook or heal one another for a full health state. Distortion can be used a small amount of times per game, and automatically prevents the Killer from seeing the player's aura when they otherwise would've been able to, while also stopping the player from leaving behind any scratch marks for a very brief period of time upon the perk activating. Distortion's effects can be overridden by very specific actions or perks, such as the Deerstalker or Blood Warden perks from the Killer, and the Killer will still intuitively know where to find you if you are receiving healing from someone while the Killer has the Nurse's Calling perk, but is otherwise a very consistent way of temporarily avoiding detection.
8. Described by the game as an "energetic athlete"

Answer: Meg Thomas

Meg's perks can allow the Survivor to quickly flee from a bad situation, when they otherwise might have fallen to the Killer. Quick and Quiet completely silences one otherwise noisy action, such as fast vaulting a window, every moderate amount of seconds. Sprint Burst is triggered by sprinting, increasing the player's movement by a significant amount for a handful of seconds, but granting them the Exhausted effect afterwards and being unable to activate while Exhausted. Adrenaline heals the player for a full health state and grants them significant extra movement speed for a few seconds once the exit gates have been powered up.
9. A character originating from "Left 4 Dead"

Answer: Bill Overbeck

Bill's perks are meant to aid the player during dire situations. Left Behind reveals the aura of the hatch within a moderate range when the player is the last Survivor left in the game. Borrowed Time grants the rescuee the Enduring status if the rescue is being performed within the Killer's Terror Radius. Unbreakable gives the player the ability to recover from the downed status without assistance once per trial.
10. Described by the game as an "Urban Artist"

Answer: Nea Karlsson

Nea's perks can grant the player benefits to getting out of a sticky situation and being efficient with item usage. Balanced Landing prevents the player from being staggered as badly when falling from a long height, and if not Exhausted, grants a speed boost upon landing. Urban Evasion lets the player crouch-walk just as quickly as walking while standing up, useful for being quiet while close to the Killer. Streetwise reduces the rate of item consumption for the player and nearby players by a moderate rate, letting them squeeze more value out of an item.
