The attempted possession of King Leoric left him mad and went into a rage looking for the missing prince and half the population of Tristram was executed as he shifted the blame upon townsfolk.

In the end, his followers were forced to kill him and the King called down a black curse vowing that his former followers will serve him for all eternity as his legion of the undead.

Odgen's sign was stolen by small demon-like creatures. They believe that the sign (which is the sun) holds great power. The sign is located four levels below the cathedral. It is a very strange quest.

The Illusion Weaver has the ability to disappear but will reveal themselves when they are attacking you. Because of this one needs to be sure to keep their guard up when encountering these fiends.

The Chamber of Bone is a dungeon made of human bones by Diablo and legends say that there are great treasures hidden inside and many thieves who tried to steal the treasures have failed and perished. Those who were contempt of stealing the treasures in The Chamber of Bone ended up guarding it instead and became undead slaves of Diablo.

Answer: A unique armor plate

Valor is the armor that was worn by the hero Arkaine. He hid his armor in a secret vault which can only be opened by placing three blood stones on The Pedestal of Blood. It is then opened and the armor is located at the end of the vault.

The Anvil of Fury is said to craft powerful weapons of magic. If you give it to Griswold, he will give you a magic sword crafted by him.

Answer: One of King Leoric's knights who has been cursed

Lachdanan was one of King Leoric's loyal knights who fell victim to the Black Curse. Lachdanan can be found in one of the Hell levels and he will tell you of a golden elixir which can lift the curse and save his soul from damnation. If the quest is completed, he will give you a unique helmet.

Answer: Zhar the Mad

Zhar the Mad can be found in the catacombs studying magic. He will give you a spell book and tell you to leave him alone, but if you look into his bookcase he will attack you.

Answer: Gharbad the Weak

Gharbad the Weak is a weak goatman who pleads with the player not to kill him. He will ask of you to spare his life and in return he will give you a magic item. He will then craft another magic item but will fight you for it. He's easy to kill, so which he does live up to his name.
