In Lockjaw's Locker it is definitely easier to get the DK Coin with EnGuarde but you can also use a team toss to get to the coin. In Lockjaw's Locker there is also one bonus area that you can only access with EnGuarde.

Even though the number of Bonus Coins you get in Gangplank Galleon for finding all the bonus areas and beating Krow is 11, it is possible to get 75 Kremcoins. There is a certain order of moves you must do in Pirate Panic to do this. There are two bonus areas in Pirate Panic, Gangplank Galley, and Topsail Trouble.

There are three bonus areas in Mainbrace Mayhem. There is one bonus area in Lockjaw's Locker.

This is one of the hints Cranky gives in his Monkey Museum which you will have access to after you beat Mainbrace Mayhem. The DK Coin can only be accessed if you find the last bonus barrel which you must have both monkeys for. You need to use Dixie to helicopter spin to the ledge by jumping off the ropes that contain the G and then team toss.

The other bonus areas are located directly to the right of the starting point and you can use either Dixie's helicopter spin or Diddy's cartwheel move to get to the ropes leading to it.

The other one is activated by a Kannonball found shortly after the letter N.

To get to the second Bonus Barrel, you must break open the exclamation point barrel which will give you temporary invincibility allowing you to take out the Krunchas guarding the barrels. The first Bonus Barrel is located directly to the left and up of the starting point.

Answer: two banana coins and a bunch of bananas

The letter K is found directly above a Flotsam which underneath it is another hidden passage with several bananas and two banana coins. The single bonus area is found directly above the second DK Barrel and you must have Enguarde to use it. Swim into the secret passage above the DK Barrel and bust open the box with Enguarde's SuperDash to get the single Bonus in this area.

One of the rare occurrences where you can get an Animal Buddy past a No Animal sign happens in this level with Rattly the Rattlesnake. If you use Rattly's Superjump on the ledge underneath the No Animal Sign you can keep him but it's not of much use since Rattly can't climb ropes but you can destroy a Zinger and get a bunch of bananas as a result. Rattly will help you reach one of the Bonus Barrels.

The other one will be helped by bouncing off Flitters.

Answer: a Kremling head and crossbones

Krow looks very similar to the Master Neckys found in "Donkey Kong Country" however they are not the same boss. Krow takes four hits to destroy. You can find two banana coins in his nest and you get a Kremcoin for defeating him.

There is also a black pirate flag at the stern of the boat. Other features of the boat itself are a golden bust at the bow of the ship, cannons, an anchor and a large white sail with a Kremling head and crossbones.

Funky's Flights II are a wise investment because they can transport you anywhere you've been for only two coins. Once you buy the plane you can use it free any other time. It is especially useful in the harder levels when you need to go back to Gangplank Galleon and get some easy lives.
