Yao-Guai are actually radiation-affected black bears, which gives them the power to live for a large amount of time. The 'ghouls' are similarly affected.

Ruzka is a Yao-Guai living in Point Lookout. As her original Black Bear self, she was a circus performer. She is roughly double the size of a normal Yao-Guai.

The Animal Friend perk is exceptionally useful if you want to conserve ammo by not having to kill any Yao-Guai that attack you. The second level of the 'Animal Friend' perk will make any affected animals aid you, which is helpful for fighting the Enclave forces.

Answer: A unique Ripper

When put into literal meaning, the weapon spells out 'Jack the Ripper', the infamous murderer. It is found in 'Deathclaw Sanctuary', on a dead Enclave Officer. The Enclave Officer may still be alive if you killed the Deathclaws quick enough.

Answer: Forced Evolutionary Virus

A small dose of FEV on a human and they will be transformed into a super mutant. The player has the option of using the FEV to poison the water, but killing all radiated-affected beings alive. This includes anyone born in the Wasteland.
