Answer: He is just Gogo

Answer: Edgar and Sabin

It is never overtly revealed whether Shadow, aka Clyde, is Relm's father, though circumstantial evidence points in that direction. Unless he takes a paternity test, he owes no back child support to Strago.

3. What happened to Duncan?

Answer: He lives in a shack up north

He can be found where the trees form a cross near Narshe. He is one tough old cuss, surviving nearly as many attempts on his life as Kefka himself!

4. What really happened to Rachel?

Answer: She was injured while treasure hunting with Locke

Though he states that someone was jailed by the Empire early on, it appears to have been a red herring. The imperial attack on Kohlingen that took place before the game's events allowed her to recover her memory of Locke before sliiping into her coma.

5. What is the maximum number of characters you can have at the end of the game.

Answer: 14

They are Terra Branford, Locke Cole, Celes Chere, Edgar Roni Figaro, Sabin Rene Figaro, Setzer Gabbiani, Cyan Garamonde, Gau, Shadow, Relm Arrowny, Strago Magus, Mog, Umaro, and Gogo. You can, however, beat the game with only Celes, Edgar and Setzer. But some of them only join you if you are good enough to find them.

6. How many characters, both permanent and non-permanent, can you control throughout the game? The ghosts on the Phantom Train count as one.

Answer: 30

The main 14, the ten other moogles, the ghost on the Phantom Train, General Leo, Maduin, Banon and the two soldiers. Interceptor does not count, as he is an uncontrollable special attack of Shadow's.

Answer: You never do

Maria is never seen by the party, though we know exactly what she looks like. The same palette swap used for Celes dressing as Maria is used for the statue of the queen in the Ancient Castle.

8. Who can use physical attacks in the Cult of Kefka Tower?

Answer: All of the above

Yes, Interceptor will show up in the tower. You must first cast Bserk on an enemy, and if they strike Shadow, the percentage chance of him showing is the same as anywhere else in the world.

9. What do the men in the cave give you for defeating the so-called "dragon" north of the Veldt?

Answer: Nothing

The jerks still repeat the same things about how they would be free if someone would defeat it. Even worse, it continues to show up.

10. Who is Gau's father?

Answer: The crazy man in the house near Doma

During one of the more entertaining cutscenes in the game, we discover this truth. Most thought Gau was a static character with no depth of emotion.
