1. Pidgey

Answer: Normal/Flying

Pidgey is a normal/flying-type Pokémon that resembles a little, brown bird. It is one of the first wild Pokémon you will come across in the original games as it is a part of generation one. Pidgey evolves into Pidgeotto at level eighteen and then into Pidgeot at level thirty-six.
2. Sunkern

Answer: Grass

Sunkern is a grass-type Pokémon from generation two. It will evolve into Sunflora when given a Sun Stone. While Sunkern resembles a seed, Sunflora looks like a sunflower.
3. Makuhita

Answer: Fighting

Makuhita is a generation three fighting-type Pokémon. Its design is based on a Japanese sumo wrestler. Many Pokédex entries claim, "It toughens up by slamming into thick trees over and over." Makuhita evolves into Hariyama at level twenty-four.
4. Hippopotas

Answer: Ground

Hippopotas is a ground-type that looks like a hippopotamus. It is from generation four. It can usually be found in deserts and other dry, sandy places. Hippopotas will evolve into Hippowdon at level thirty-four.
5. Munna

Answer: Psychic

Munna is a psychic-type found in generation five. It is pink and purple with the ability to float. Similar to some other psychic Pokémon, it is known to eat the dreams of people and other Pokémon. Munna evolves into Musharna is it is given a Moon Stone.
6. Honedge

Answer: Steel/Ghost

Honedge is the first Pokémon to be a steel/ghost-type. It was introduced in generation six. This Pokémon resembles a sword that has been possessed by a spirit in order to float and fight. It evolves into Doublade at level thirty-five and then into Aegislash when presented with a Dusk Stone.
7. Litten

Answer: Fire

Litten is the fire-type starter for generation seven. It looks like a black and red cat. In the TV show, Ash catches a Litten once the gang arrives in the new region on Alola. Litten evolves into Torracat at level seventeen and then evolves again into Incineroar at level thirty-four.
8. Slowpoke

Answer: Water/Psychic

Slowpoke is a water/psychic-type Pokémon from generation one. It is pink and rather dopey. It can take a few seconds for it to respond to physical pain. It catches prey by using its tail as a fishing pole. Slowpoke has two possible evolutionary forms. It can evolve into Slowbro at level thirty-four or it can evolve into Slowking when traded while holding a King's Rock.
9. Sneasel

Answer: Dark/Ice

Sneasel is a dark/ice-type from generation two. It can usually be found in snowy areas and in mountains. Males and females can be told apart based on the length of the feather on their head. Females have a shorter feather. To evolve a Sneasel, a few requirements must be met. If it is leveled up at night while holding a Razor Claw, it will evolve into a Weavile. Weavile was introduced in generation four.
10. Volbeat

Answer: Bug

Volbeat is a bug-type Pokémon in generation three. They are all male and can be bred with Illumise, which are all female. Neither of these Pokémon evolve. Each are based on fireflies and can be found in forested areas.
