3. In a different room, you will find your mother, Lily, along with the professor. What is the professor's name, which sounds like a bird?

Krane will say that the Battle Coach has been giving you very high praise, and that your battling skills are a lot better. He then jokes that he would probably lose in a Pokémon battle against you. Your mother then says that she wishes they wouldn't praise you and Jovi, your little sister, so often as they would eventually be spoiled rotten.

After winning, you earn some money, and Chobin realizes you are only a kid, and therefore not a burglar. Jovi then comes out of the house and asks you if you got lost (if you say no she thinks you are lying). Chobin then realizes you are her older brother and goes back into the lab.

6. Chobin then shows you some of Dr. Kaminko's inventions. He claims they are the best in the world. However, I am sure most can disagree. What is the strange thing about his inventions?

Answer: They have harmful effects

Some of his inventions are the Unhealthy Sandals, which will constantly hurt your feet, the Power-Draining Lightbulb, an ordinary lightbulb that drains power ten times as fast, the Power-Saving Refrigerator, a fridge that only works when the door is open, the Haunted Radio, which will say "Please help meeeeeeeee." at 2:00 A.M., and a few others. Chobin thinks they are all very excellent and says that because nobody else would think of making those. How true.

7. Upon returning, your mom, Lily, confronts Jovi, scolds her for wandering off alone, and reminds her that she was in the middle of hide-and-seek with Adon. After she leaves, Lily tells you the professor wants you. But a man in his lab tells you he went downstairs. When you find him, he lets you test out a new machine that can capture trainers' Pokémon. What is this machine called?

Answer: Snag Machine

The Snag Machine is meant for you to steal Shadow Pokémon so they can be taken to the lab and purified back into their original state. Aidan says the machine is a perfect fit on your arm. You are to go to the Sim Battle Machine and test it out, and Aidan gives you five Poké Balls to capture them with, but right after you finish talking, some spies break in and take Professor Krane away.

When you go after them, you fight one and encounter your first Shadow Pokémon, which you must capture with the Snag Machine and a Poké Ball.

8. After obtaining the machine that will let you capture Shadow Pokémon, several men barge in and kidnap the professor. When you pursue them outside, one of them, Spy Naps, will battle you and send out the first Shadow Pokémon encountered in battle in the game. What Pokémon does he use?

Answer: Teddiursa

When you capture the Teddiursa, Naps and the other men are alarmed from the fact that you have a Snag Machine. They then run off with Krane in their captivity. You chase after them, but they drive away with a car. Back inside, you, Jovi, Lily, and Aidan gather, with Jovi crying over the loss of the professor.

9. When you, Aidan, Jovi, and Lily gather into one room, Aidan says that the Purify Chamber cannot be completed without the professor. However, Lily is determined not to give up so close to finishing it. She says they should fix it themselves. She instructs you to travel to Gateon Port to the Parts Shop to retrieve a part they ordered that they need for the machine. In which direction must you travel to get there?

Answer: South

Jovi says that she knows where it is, as it is right next to her friend Emili's house. She persuades Lily to let her go with you, getting Jovi as a party member again.

10. Jovi rushes ahead to the parts shop and crashes into Zook, a giant, bulky thug. He gets angry and sends out his Zangoose to attack, but three wise men approach. One of them, Mystery Man Ardos, sends out which Pokémon to attack it?

Answer: Alakazam

After winning, Zook is steamed and runs off as Mr. Verich, Ardos, and the other man walk away. Emili and her mother Acri then come across you. Acri tells you that Mr. Verich is extremely rich and the other two men are his assistants. You are then free to go to the Parts Shop, where a man will tell you the manager has gone off to Dr. Kaminko's house, and he will offer you to take one of five items that will let Eevee evolve into Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Umbreon, or Espeon. Espeon and Umbreon would normally need to level up with high friendship towards you, if in the day it evolves to Espeon, and if in the night in becomes Umbreon, but since there is no real time system in this game, it depends on whether you have the Moon Shard or the Sun Shard.
