Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. The main story ("Metroid", "Metroid II", "Super Metroid", "Metroid Fusion") takes place in which Planets/Stations/Clusters?

Answer: Zebes, SR388, Zebes, BSL

The order Samus enters these planets is Zebes, where she destroys the space pirate base, SR388, where Samus destroys the Metroid species, Zebes where she destroys the entire planet, and the Biological Space Lab (BSL), where Samus learns that executing the Metroid species, was a bad, bad idea.

It seems in the main story, everywhere Samus explores explodes in some manner, in "Super Metroid" Zebes is destroyed, and in "Metroid Fusion" the BSL floats into SR388, destroying both.
2. The Alimbic Cluster consists of which Planets?

Answer: Alinos, Arcterra, Oubliette

Anaphractia is not a thing in the "Metroid" universe, Norion is the GF (Galactic Federation) home planet, and the Space Pirate Homeworld is not even near the Alimbic Cluster. The Alimbic Cluster is composed of Alinos, Arcterra, Oubliette, Celestial Archives and the Vesper Defense Outpost.
3. Which planets are home to species that have traded with the Chozo?

Answer: Aether, Bryyo

Zebes and Tallon IV were home to the Chozo, and the Space Pirates are the enemy of the Chozo. K-2L is the place where Samus was born. Aether is home to the Luminoth, a moth-like alien, Bryyo is home to the Reptilica's who make golems and stuff, and Elysia is home to robot peoples who makes everything into a robot.

The original robots were made by the Chozo, who left the planet for Tallon IV.
4. Multiple games take place on the same planet. Which is the correct pairing?

Answer: "Metroid", "Super Metroid", "Metroid: Zero Mission" - Zebes

"Metroid", "Super Metroid", and "Metroid: Zero Mission" all take place on Zebes, in "Metroid" Samus blows up Mother Brain and the pirate base. "Metroid: Zero Mission" is a remake of "Metroid" where Samus is shot down by a Space Pirate Mothership, and must infiltrate the Pirate Mothership without her awesome powersuit, but she regains it and kills a metallic resident that is unfinished. "Super Metroid" is where Samus blows up the entire planet Zebes.

This must've been hard seeing as she spent over ten years living and training there.
5. What planet do the Luminoth live on?

Answer: Aether

They live on planet aether, and have fought numerous wars and lost almost all of their population. Only one Luminoth is seen on the planet, the rest are dead, although there is stasis pods, and about 10-ish (maybe more) Luminoths can be seen at the end of "Metroid Prime 2".
6. In "Metroid Prime", there is a room that shows all the planets around the "Metroid" universe. Which one of the planets does Samus NOT explore?

Answer: Bilium

Zebes is playable in "Metroid", "Super Metroid" and "Metroid Zero Mission"(Metroid 1.1). Dark Aether is "Metroid Prime 2", and the Space Pirate Homeworld is in "Metroid Prime 3". The planet Bilium is the second smallest planet compared to the rest of the solar system, it comes right after Twin Tabula.
7. What is the mass of the planet Bilium?

Answer: 3.8 trillion teratons

4.8 is the mass of Zebes, 5.1 is the mass of Tallon IV, and 4.1 is the mass of Twin Tabula. The Earth is 128.1 zettatons (billion teratons) large, doesn't that put the size in perspective?
8. What is Twin Tabula famous for?

Answer: It is responsible for Twin Fever

Twin Fever causes death. When your "Twin Sight" fades, you are near death.
9. What is the planet "savaged by nuclear dust storms, and constant seismic upheavals"?

Answer: Oormine II

Dagobah is from "Star Wars", The Remains Of Cinos is something completely unrelated to anything, and the planet Bilium contains a sentient virus thing that is gaseous. If you are wondering what constant seismic upheavals mean, it means it's in a constant state where there is an upward displacement of the planets crust.
10. Which planets are listed biggest to smallest?

Answer: Tallon IV, Zebes, Twin Tabula, Billium

Tallon IV contains six different ecosystems, Zebes contains six (seven if you include Ridley's Lair) as well, even though it is smaller. All these planets can be seen in the projector room inside the pirate base in "Metroid Prime".
