Answer: Shy Guy's Toy Box

Found near the Blue Station in Shy Guy's Toy Box, we can attack some of the Shy Guys running around a large room to claim the Cake Mix as a reward. This is the only place in the game where said item is found. Later on, when Tayce T. is able to make us food (she can't if we're just starting Chapter 4) we can create Cake out of the mixture found. Gourmet Guy, found later in the dungeon, loves cake and will drop a cookbook when he leaves his post. Tayce T. requires that we return her favourite, stolen Frying Pan from the Toy Box before we can do this though. If used in battle, Cake Mix will refill 1FP.

Answer: Toad Town Harbor

Fuzzipede is a creature that was eaten by the whale in Toad Town Harbor. When Chapter 5 rolls around and we need to make our way to Lavalava Island, defeating Fuzzipede within the whale's belly will prove to be a smart idea as it'll persuade the whale to transport us back and forth between the two destinations free of charge. Fuzzipede has 20HP, but he has the ability to climb onto the ceiling preventing us from using most hammer attacks. Fuzzipede's actually a nice guy in most cases. Before being eaten by the whale, we can see him by Fishmael's side on the docks of the harbor.

Answer: Bowser's Castle

While Bowser's Castle isn't the last spot we'll see Jr. Troopa it's the final battle spot with this long-running antagonist. Although we're expected to fight the Koopa Bros. before the final door of Bowser's Castle, Jr. Troopa changes the plans and we're forced into a spontaneous battle with the little guy.

He'll flip between several forms throughout the battle (all of which were seen throughout the game) and we'll need to use all sorts of different tactics. After this battle, we'll be able to enter Princess Peach's Castle for the final battle with Bowser.

Answer: Koopa Village

Koopa Koot is an old Koopa living in the final house in Koopa Village (closest to the pipe). Here, we can visit in order to run errands, usually involving delivering certain items. While usually we'll only claim a single coin as a reward on most occasions, sometimes he'll hand over Star Pieces or credits to enter the Playroom of Toad Town.

When we've actually raised the pipes leading from the Toad Town Sewers so that we can access the other locations across the Kingdom, things will get easier to deliver as we can reach destinations quicker. Koopa Koot will give us twenty different errands to run.

Answer: Shiver Snowfield

Chapter 7, 'A Star Spirit on Ice', is held entirely in the snow-capped lands in the northeast corner of the Mushroom Kingdom. Here, we'll search for the final of seven Star Spirits, the last to claim before you head to Princess Peach's Castle in the game's finale. Shiver Snowfield will inevitably take us to Shiver City, Starborn Valley, and the fortress containing the Crystal King, one of the final dungeons in the game. Before accessing this, however, we'll need to find ourselves some common items (a bucket and a scarf) to gain access to this hidden area of the map.

Answer: Dry Dry Desert

Limes (and Lemons for that matter) only grow in one place: the oasis in Dry Dry Desert. Here, we can hammer a tree for the delicious treat to drop down. A Lime is necessary for a Koopa Koot errand while the Lemon is required to speak to Moustafa in Dry Dry Outpost. To reach the oasis, we head out of Dry Dry Outpost, then head due south.

Here, we can also find a rank block to upgrade one of our party members. Dry Dry Desert is also home to Dry Dry Ruins, the dungeon of Chapter 2: 'The Mystery of Dry, Dry Ruins'.

Answer: Lavalava Island

Misstar is the fifth of seven Star Spirits we must save over the course of the game. We come across her after defeating the Lava Piranha boss in the depths of Lavalava Island's active volcano. After the boss is killed, the volcano will begin to erupt and the only way to escape is with her help (she carries us and Kolorado out of the volcano). Misstar will award us with the Smooch technique after being saved. If used in battle (at a cost of two bars of Star Power) we will regain 20HP. Misstar is one of two female Star Spirits.

Answer: Boo Mansion

The old record can be found when we are navigating the rooms of Boo Mansion. Clearly, the Boos want to make things difficult for us. This record is later used when we needs to access a specific chest guarded by a steadfast Boo. By playing the music on its player, the Boo will leave its post to investigate (and dance) and we can grab the contents to continue the puzzle. We need to play a guessing game with Boos to get the record in the first place.

Inevitably, we'll earn the Super Boots in this location and Lady Bow will join the party as the fifth member.

Answer: Mario's House

After we claim the Super Boots from Boo Mansion in Chapter 3, we can return to Mario's House via the pipe in Toad Town and pound our way into the secret panel of the bedroom floor. Doing this will bring us to a small study in which we can read the entries of Luigi's diary. Luigi updates his secret book often (usually after every chapter) and often hints at his support for his brother but also his desire to go on adventures of his own.

In the sequel, "The Thousand Year Door", Luigi is seen going on his own adventure complete with support characters.

Answer: Gusty Gulch

Magical Seeds are required for us to make our way through the garden gateway in Toad Town to reach the battleground for the sixth chapter of the game, Flower Fields. Magical Seeds can be received from flower creatures around the world and we can hand them off to the Toad gardener next to Rolf's Shop in Toad Town to plant them. Once all four are collected (impossible until after Chapter 5 is complete) we can head through the door that appears. Seeds can be found on Mt. Rugged, in central Toad Town (near Tayce T.'s house), on an small patch of land on Lavalava Island (north of Yoshi Village), and in a central part of Forever Forest.
