Answer: Maple

The maple tree is well known throughout Canada. It produces a deliciously sweet syrup which is used to make candies, pies, or simply pour over pancakes. In Toronto, the NHL team is called the Maple Leafs.

The banyan is a type of fig tree. It often takes root in other trees or structures. The trees are famous for growing all over the temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.
