I've been struggling for a week with terrible letters.
But having got to a point where I could see light at the end of the tunnel Ive had 11 letters three times in the past few days.
My 12th letter when I was looking for an 11 letter word has been first Z, then X, then J.
Each time I clear out the *** killer letter in a four letter word and go back to try again...but it really feels like the system is mocking me. And yes I expect the Q any moment now.

I normally don’t trade letters. I don’t mind making four letter words for one point. But today I had to admit defeat and trade some letters. The letters I had were QQVJJIIIIIII. I traded II and received a J. I traded J & J and was rewarded with an I. QV and QJ got me EE. More trading, a bit of playing and I was finally able to make a word! Five letters for Pager. Reply #202. @MiraJane. - I feel your pain, those letters were horrendous! My current letters are: EEEE. Top of the leaderboard is currently a score of 480, so that will be well over 500 by the time the month ends. There's a couple of 444's in 2nd and 3rd. Time to get rid of Letters qqvjjiiiiiii by: 1)player top1 scoreboard 480 pts and 554 games: Half a day 2)player top2 scoreboard 444 pts 412 games Half a day to get 12 letters. 3)player top 3 scoreboard 444 pts 483 games Half a day to get rid off 12 letters. 4)mirajane score board 22 pts and only 51 games 51 games in 29 days :average 2 games per day. Time to get 12 lettres for mirajane 6 days. Conclusion if you want in the top of the scoreboard, You must play in average 19 games per day. When do you sleep with 19 games per day? Reply #205. People used to say this about the monthly games but it's not necessarily a straightforward case of 24 hrs divided by the number of games. If I start playing at 08:58, then the game changes over at 09:00 I can play again at 09:02... and then not play again until 10:58, and so on. If I get the timings right I can play 18 games in 16 hours, and still get a solid eight hours of sleep. However, a lot of people don't have a regular sleeping pattern of that sort - they may sleep for five-six hours, and take a nap during the day and if they are leaving almost two hours between every couple of games that leaves plenty of two hour stretches for naps. Much depends on your target for making words as to when you change letters. My priority is to make 11/12 letter words. I find it more fun than maximizing scores. So I almost never switch letters till I have 11-12 to choose from. You'd feel pretty silly to ditch two Us and get a Q for example (that has happened to me once). If you have a choice between playing a four-letter word to leave you eight decent letters as opposed to changing two consonants or vowels you think you might want to keep...much depends on whether there is more than one good letter you could draw from the change to get you an 11-er. Yeah, you will get it, and it'll give you some payback for toying with you as the WW game def. Has a sense of humor....a little dark though. I've been getting double-teamed lately by both the WW game and the Crystal Ball game, which has no sense of humor, that game can be downright Nefarious!! Lol.
