I have five Os, and was just given a second X. Oh, joy! Reply #221. Dec 14 23, 4:28 PM |

Gotta say, love the definition of "flatulence" this hour! Why more folks don't use it in that manner boggles the mind. I want to slip that into something I write now. Reply #222. Jan 01 24, 6:12 PM |

I think WW is just plain ticked off at me or something. 5/9 of my letters are E's. E R E O G S E E E Reply #225. Jan 31 24, 10:41 PM |

Change two E's for a consonant and you rate to have a decent selection. So actually you are LUCKY for having the E's before the O. (I'm sure that was what you wanted to hear) Reply #226. No, you were so right, garrybl. I wound up with a decent word as soon as I made the trade. I think it was "featlier," lol. It means "in a graceful manner." Reply #227. Feb 02 24, 6:18 PM |

May I ask how WW determines what is a real word? I mean, which database or whatever it is using? So many of my long words get rejected that I seem to be frustrated a lot. Just now I tried using astrolatry ("worship of heavenly bodies") but of course, it wouldn't take it. Just asking out of true interest! Reply #228. Feb 19 24, 12:12 PM |

The words allowed are from a homemade database. The dictionary used in all the word games was consulted, trimmed, and words not allowed by the rules of Scrabble were added in. Why have I mentioned Scrabble? Because many complain "But Scrabble accepts that word!" Yes, I've paraphrased a common complaint. Try using some words Scrabble won't allow and you find those words are accepted in this quirky side game. Reply #229. Feb 23 24, 12:13 AM |

Thanks, MiraJane. It accepts words I'm sure it won't, and vice versa, so I was sure wondering. Reply #230. Feb 23 24, 1:17 AM |

Something strange is going on with Word Wizard today! I have played three times this morning, and my lowest score was 1200+, but it has never given me a letter afterward? What gives? Reply #231. Feb 27 24, 11:14 AM |

Apparently the problem was that my Gold Membership expired today. I just paid it and rebooted, but I'm still getting the message to "Become a Gold Member." But hopefully, when I play at the noon hour it will all be worked out. *mourns the loss of three WW letters* Reply #232. Feb 27 24, 11:30 AM |

An unusual possibility (only a possibility) I'm looking ExTRADITIONQ (11 letters no X yet). If I draw the X I could be the first person in the history of the game to make an 11 letter word with an X and Q on my rack. Of course P would give a far duller PARTITIONED... Reply #233. Hoping someone can answer a question for me. What time is the latest I can post a word and have it count for this month's score? Will just after midnight be too late? Or does the new month start at 1:00 a.m. central as in the Duels game? Reply #235. Mar 31 24, 5:22 PM |

The full Ginsburg is an American term for going on all the major Sunday talking-head news shows. it dates from monica lewinsky's lawyer. I'd like to introduce the full garrybl. This refers to getting all of Z Q J and X iin Word Wizard in the shortest period of time. I think I've done it in 20 goes before. Here is my latest world-record attempt. 24 games. Can anyone beat that? Most of the time I'd like to buy some consonants. I haven't had an 11-letter word in months. 24 plays to get those letters is fast, I don't recall Q's coming around all that often. Reply #237. Apr 06 24, 8:12 AM |
