1. Woody Woodpecker

Woody Woodpecker was created in 1940 by Walter Lantz. The character was originally voiced by voice actor Mel Blanc. Woody Woodpecker cartoons were first aired on television in 1957 and "The Woody Woodpecker Show" ran until 1972. The show was revived in 1999 and called "The New Woody Woodpecker Show". It ran on Saturday mornings until 2002.
2. Yogi Bear

Yogi Bear was created by Hanna-Barbera and first appeared as a supporting character in "The Huckleberry Hound Show" in 1958. In January 1961, Yogi was given his own show, "The Yogi Bear Show", that centered around a wise guy bear named Yogi and his little pal Boo Boo Bear. Yogi and Boo Boo live in the fictional Jellystone Park and Yogi's main activity is stealing pic-a-nic baskets from visiting guests.
3. Foghorn Leghorn

Foghorn Leghorn is a cartoon rooster who appears in Looney Tunes and was created by Robert McKimson. His voice sounds as if he were a Southern Colonel or a blustery Southern politician. Foghorn Leghorn's first appearance was in 1946 and was originally voiced by Mel Blanc.
4. Andy Panda

Andy Panda was created by Walter Lantz and Alex Lovy and made his first film appearance in 1939. Lance got the idea for the character in 1937 while he was at a zoo where the main attraction was a young panda. At first, Andy had a turtle sidekick named Mr. Whippletree, but he was basically replaced by Andy's father Papa Panda after the first three episodes.
5. Hong Kong Phooey

Hong Kong Phooey was created by Hanna-Barbera and ran from September 7 to December 21, 1974. The show was about a cartoon dog named Penrod "Penry" Pooch who worked as a janitor at a police station. When an emergency arose, he would jump into a file cabinet and emerge as super crime fighter Hong Kong Phooey.

He would always get stuck in the file cabinet before emerging and have to get unstuck by his striped pet cat and sidekick named Spot. He was voiced by actor, comedian, singer Scatman Crothers.
6. Sylvester

Sylvester is a cartoon cat created by Friz Freleng for Looney Tunes. He is a black and white cat who, when he speaks, sticks his tongue out which creates an exaggerated lisp. He spends a lot of time trying to catch and eat Tweety Bird but fails in every attempt. His catch phrase is "Sufferin' succotash!".
7. Homer Pigeon

Homer Pigeon is a straw hat wearing cartoon pigeon created by Walter Lantz and Alex Lovy. His voice was based on comedian Red Skelton's character Clem Kadiddlehopper. His first appearance was in 1942 in a cartoon short titled "Pigeon Patrol". His last appearance was in 1964 on "The Woody Woodpecker Show". In 1988, Homer had a cameo appearance in the movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit".
8. Top Cat

"Top Cat" is a cartoon series created by Hanna-Barbera which ran from September 27, 1961, to April 18, 1962. It is about a group of Manhattan alley cats with a leader or "Top Cat" who they refer to as T.C. The cats are always trying to come up with get-rich-quick schemes but have trouble getting around a street cop who is always trying to arrest them or evict them from the alley.
9. Pepe Le Pew

Pepe Le Pew is a cartoon skunk created by Chuck Jones and Michael Maltese for Warner Bros. Looney Tunes in 1945. Pepe is French and is constantly in pursuit of a female black cat who always, by accident or intentionally, manages to get a white paint stripe along her back.

This confuses Pepe into thinking she is another skunk. The cat is always pushing away from Pepe's advances because of his smell. Pepe was voiced by Mel Blanc from 1945 to 1989.
10. Chilly Willy

Chilly Willy was created by Walter Lantz, Tex Avery, and Paul Smith in 1953. He is a little penguin who in most episodes is trying to devise some method to stay warm in his habitat. Chilly's main antagonist is a yawning hound dog named Smedley. Chilly's two main friends are Maxie the Polar Bear and an albatross named Gooney the "Gooney Bird".
11. Jabberjaw

Jabberjaw is a cartoon shark created by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears in 1976. Jabberjaw is a great white shark who happens to be the drummer for a band called The Neptunes. Jabberjaw is voiced by Frank Welker, who imitates the voice of Curly Howard of the Three Stooges.
12. Yosemite Sam

Yosemite Sam is a cartoon cowboy created by Friz Freleng in 1945. He is a short, bow legged, long mustached, gun carrying outlaw with a hair-trigger temper. He also has an intense hatred of rabbits, especially Bugs Bunny. He was voiced by Mel Blanc from 1945 to 1989.
13. Inspector Willoughby

Inspector Willoughby is a cartoon secret agent created by Walter Lantz in 1958. Also known as Secret Agent 6 7/8, he has droopy eyes, a bushy mustache, and a laconic voice. His name was taken from the Hollywood avenue which runs alongside Lantz's office.
14. Quick Draw McGraw

Quick Draw McGraw is a cartoon cowboy horse created by Hanna-Barbera in 1959. Quick Draw McGraw is usually depicted as a sheriff and has a little Mexican burro sidekick and deputy named Baba Looey. Quick Draw also has a secret alias called El Kabong who is a Zorro-type character who swings on a rope and smacks bad guys on the head with a guitar.
15. Tazmanian Devil

Tazmanian Devil is a cartoon version of an actual Tasmanian devil, created by Robert McKimson in 1954. He is commonly called Taz for short. He is short tempered and dim-witted, with jaws like a steel trap. When he speaks, it's mostly a series of grunts, growls, and rasps.

When he wants to, he can spin like a tornado and bite through anything. His only weakness is that he can be pacified by music.
