Ruth was a Moabite woman who showed incredible loyalty to her mother-in-law Naomi after the death of her husband. She later married Boaz, and together they became part of the lineage of King David. Ruth is a symbol of loyalty and faithfulness in the Bible. (See Ruth 1-4)
Esther was a brave queen who saved her people from destruction by risking her life to speak to the king. She revealed the evil plan of Haman, who sought to destroy the Jewish people, and used her position to ensure their survival. (See Esther 1-10)
Joshua succeeded Moses as the leader of the Israelites and led them into the Promised Land. He is most famous for bringing down the walls of Jericho through faith and obedience to God. (See Joshua 1-6)
Daniel is best known for being thrown into a lions' den because of his faithfulness to God. God protected him and he survived the night with the lions, proving that God honours those who are faithful. (See Daniel 6)
